Science fiction satire presented to mock the many generations of society.
Some time later when Luna has all but given up hope on establishing a profitable relationship with these newfound extraterrestrial lifeforms:
"I get all my papers and smile at the sky For I know that the hypnotized never lie " The Who In the early evening warmth of summer, in the well-groomed and manicured back yard of an upper crust neighborhood came three young people; two young men and a young woman. To suggest that they were furtive about their entrance may be going too far, at least inasmuch as they seemed to hurry to the gazebo by the lake where they might not be overheard. Yet they cast no wary glances about them. They did not minimize their body language to give hidden watchers the impression that they could be anyone. They were silent while they crossed the cleverly mowed lawn, however, apparently satisfied to wait until they gained the destination to broach the topic of their meeting.

The ground was ashy but scintillating. The silence magnificent but unbearable. No more bustling city or loud crowds. No more vibrant ads or salesmen spurting on about purchases. The girl was here but the city gone; I’m not exactly sure that this is what I wanted but it is my new life.

Alright, for those of you who don’t speak Nerd, Coruscant is the capital planet of the Galactic Empire in Star Wars. It is depicted as a giant planetary city. It’s existence posits the question, “Would it be possible to make Earth into Coruscant?” I don’t think so. Besides the obvious question of “Wouldn’t we have to destroy all the nature?”, I don’t even think we would make it that far. Just look at how the world is today! This year Australia and California had some of the worst wildfires on record and we’ve had so many hurricanes we are using Greek names. Lousiana is about to get hit for the 9th time! There’s also a pandemic spreading across the globe, many believe because we encroached on nature around China. Climate change is also melting polar ice caps and permafrost is melting releasing pockets of methane into the atmosphere. Methane can absorb 200 times more heat than Carbon Dioxide. This could kickstart “runaway climate change” in which the planet gradually heats into an irreversible hellscape. And all of this is only a 1 degree increase in the global average temperature. Yes, some people may bring up the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum in which the earth warmed 5 to 8 degrees and life still survived. The key difference is that temperature difference was over 200,000 years. We raised our temperature 1 degree in 100 years. Too fast for most species to adapt and survive.
The troopers sat around a sizable bench table, an air of suspense lingering. Some helmets were removed, as they had yet to be called into action, but kept nearby for convenience. No upstanding member of the Dominion’s troops ranks would dare be caught unprepared for the implementation of their duty, lest they be deemed unfit. And yet, as she starred at the ground, K883T’s heart thumped and her pulse quickened with her breath. In her silence, she struggled in vain to reassure herself. It was becoming harder and harder through the years, with her coping mechanisms fading with the memories of home. Resting her elbows on her knees, she bowed her head in a sigh, her long brown braid flowing down her shoulder.
For starters, SCP means Secure, Contain, Protect. And SCPs are entities that either do not belong with humans, pose a threat to humans, or are somewhere in the middle like SCP 001, an entity said to guard a gate to unknown places. But thats gonna be a whole other story. Also, SCPs are organized in a list, Safe, Elucid, Keter. Safe means they are safe around humans and require little to no security and resources to contain them. Elucid means they require more resources and can pose a threat, or exhibit hostile behavior. Keter class is the most dangerous class(sometimes). Keter class scps are either extremley dangerous or etremley hard to contain and require many resourses. Lets get started.
It was not the most easily accessible of places at the best of times, but worth the journey if one could make it. Mrs Zelda Magwitch’s 24/7 diner overlooked the town and was positioned at a precisely not perpendicular angle of -4° on Zig Zag Hill. This was to help with the drainage. If the weather folk decided it would rain on Sunday, it would rain daffodils, and if on Tuesday, it would rain tulips. And so, the slight angle helped with the necessary Tuesday/Sunday sweep. It was customary for the youngest of the Magwitch brood to act as broomsweep, until he was considered wise enough to learn the kitchen alchemies. Today just so happened to be one of those rainy days.
Time...time was a frail social construct, one so easily tossed aside when shit hit the fan. A pandemic wiped out 4% of the worlds population, and we survivors went into hiding. No longer measuring time by the hands of a clock, but instead, but the sheets or toilet paper left on the roll.
Chapter One: The Planet Kumat Surveying the ground through his monitors, Lawn hoovered the ship momentarily as he proceeded to descend vertically into the circular, pit-like dock. Large domed shields disappeared into the sandy foundations of the building as it opened. The setting sun was beginning to impede his sight, and the ship clunked maladroitly to a halt as he swiftly removed his restraints. He flipped off the engine and hastened through the cockpit exit. No matter how many times he has been to Kumat, his palms still perspired.
