He heard a familiar knock echo through his apartment, causing his stomach to both flutter and knot. As he rounded the corner, he heard her sweet voice, "Trevor. Please open up."

The door swung open and he caught his breath. Per usual, she looked like a dream. Her dark red dress clung to every curve and she had her beautiful brown locks up in a tight bun, with a few spiraling around her sweet face. The silver pendant he had given her two years ago fell just between her breasts. He had yet to see her without it. Finally, his eyes traveled to her face and he noticed the trails tears had made on her cheeks.

"Jo, what happened this time?" Pulling her into his arms, he hugged her tightly and the tears began to flow again. She was a peanut, so he casually picked her up, shut the door and brought her to the living room. As they walked she snuggled in closer to his neck and breathed him in. A small groan escaped Trevor's throat as he felt the warmth flooding to his groin.

Gently, he placed her on the couch. Before she noticed the growing situation in his sweatpants, he turned and went to the kitchen. Once behind the bar, he asked, "Chocolate milk or whiskey, Love?"

"Chocolate milk tonight. Maybe a blanket too?" She responded as she peeled off her heels and pulled her knees to her chest. His heart ached. Could he listen to yet another story? He gathered the milk and the blanket and then joined her on the couch.

"Trevor, why are you so damn good to me?" The question caught him off guard.

"You're my best friend, Jo. I just want you to be happy and loved and cared for."

"You are the only person that seems to think that way." If only she would let him show her how much he wanted her to feel loved, he thought.

"So, what happened?" He asked as he pulled the blanket over the both of them.

"The usual." She scoffed. "He hit me this time though. Not the wall." Trevor felt his every muscle tense. How could a man ever lay a hand on something so beautiful?

"I should kill him for doing that."

"Trev, stop. I know I can't go back. I told him I was done. It's over. I just need a place to stay. Can I crash on your couch?"

"I guess. My bed is more comfortable."

"Come on, Trev. You know we can't."

"Why can't we, Jo?" He had asked her this a thousand times. When they celebrated being best friends for five years, he had written a letter expressing his feelings for her. They were young teenagers then and Jo told him she couldn't ever feel the same because he had always been like a brother to her. Now, years later, they were grown and he had watched her go through shit relationship after shit relationship.

"I just don't feel that way for you." She whispered, looking away from him. The words sounded forced, like the world's biggest lie.

"Jo, I think you know I am the man that is supposed to love you. Let's just give it a go. I can give you the world. I have been in love with you ever since the beginning. Let me show you what that feels like, what it means to love."

She looked at him with wide, chocolate brown eyes. Unconsciously, she pulled her bottom lip into her mouth with her tongue and teeth. Every time she felt anxious she did this and it drove him wild. He could feel his growing cock and had to restrain himself from biting that lip with his own teeth.

She wasn't saying anything, so Trevor slowly inched towards her. Her hand rose to his unshaven, prickly cheek. He leaned into it and then grabbed it delicately with his large hands. Holding her gaze, he drew her wrist to his lips and gently kissed her, causing her lips to part just a little.

"We shouldn't..." She started to say, but then his face was centimeters from hers and they were breathing the same air.

"Do you want me to stop, Love?" Her breathing told him she did not want him to stop, but he would never destroy their friendship.

When she didn't answer, he began to pull back.

"Jo..." He pulled himself further away, but stopped at the sound of her sweet voice whispering, "Okay, Trev."

"What?" The shock was very obvious in his voice.

"Love me. Please Trevor, show me what it means to be loved."

Without hesitation, he scooped her into his arms and carried her to his king sized bed. Gently, he sat her on the edge of it. Then he knelt before her and looked into those eyes that drove him wild. She nodded her approval, letting his hands run up her smooth legs and across her milky thighs. The softness of silk met his fingertips and he pulled the panties off in a swift motion. He pushed her back onto the bed and spread her legs.

His lips touched her first, then his tongue. She was already wet, which surprised him a bit. God, she tasted so good. Devouring her, he pleasured her until she was grasping at the bed sheets and breathing like she had ran a marathon. When he pulled back, she whimpered and his cock stiffened even more. Slowly, as if teasing her, he dropped his sweatpants. Then he watched as her eyes covered every inch of his muscular thighs and large cock. After spitting in his right hand, he ran it over the tip of himself and she moaned.

"You like this, Jo? Do you want more?"

She couldn't even speak, just grabbed his hand and pulled him on top of her. He slid inside her wet, throbbing pussy. This felt better than he had ever imagined. Their lips found one another and danced as his hips moved with hers. She was losing her mind, her breath coming so quickly now.

"This is how you should be loved, Jo. You should feel these moments of bliss every day."

His words brought them both to a breaking point and as she climaxed and moaned his name, he let himself finish also. Then he rolled to his side, but did so carefully so he could still enjoy the way it felt being inside the woman he had loved for so long. She sighed and buried her head in his neck, spreading kisses as she went.

"You were right, Trev. This bed is way better than your couch."
