Remote Controlled Sex Toy Adventure

With my birthday right around the corner, I was thinking back to birthdays past. In particular, two years ago, my last birthday before the pandemic hit and the sexy adventure my wife and her best friend gave me.

We had a dinner planned with our closest friends — a couple we spend a lot of time with and, full disclosure, are very close with. I knew little of the plans for the night, except that the four of us were going to one of our favourite restaurants.

We arrived at about 7pm, dressed nicely, as it was a higher-end restaurant. The wait staff there know us well, and immediately brought over a bottle of Prosecco. As the cork was popped, my wife handed me a small gift bag and instructed me to reach in and grab one of the two items in the bag.

I pulled out a small remote control, with a Lelo logo on it. I knew what it was immediately. With a huge grin on my face I handed the bag across the table and the husband from the other couple pulled out the second remote control.

This is a fantasy we had all had for ages. Going to a nice restaurant and having a long drawn-out dinner, as my wife and her friend had insertable sex toys that the guys controlled. The idea we had all discussed that for the whole dinner to be a teasing, sexy build-up to a long sexual night. But over dinner, the goal would be for all of us to stay right on that edge is sexual stimulation bordering on frenzy. But also to be able to keep it sufficiently under control to have a nice dinner in a nice place.

I’m sure there are many choices, but we went with the Lelo Hula Beads. It’s a small insertable vibrator with vibration patterns and intensity controlled by a remote control. My wife and her friend had inserted the toys just before we sat down for dinner, so as the Prosecco was poured we were ready to go.

We love playing with various forms of power exchange, so what had always intrigued us in this scenario is how much trust had to be shared in order to allow someone, in a very public place, to basically control your stimulation. My wife and her friend loved the idea that they were allowing us to give them that pleasure in public but also trusting us that we would keep it sufficiently in check so that we weren’t all outed, a-la Sleepless in Seatle.

The first part of the evening was fun, and a little funny, as we figured out how the toys work. We definitely erred on the side of a little too intense too quickly. Those toys pack quite a punch and it was, honestly, a little hard to keep it all under control as we experimented with some of the upper settings. It felt great, was super fun, but normal conversation was challenging. It was really exciting for all of us to see someone get that glazed look as they sat in public, leaning into the feeling between their legs.

As the evening went on, we kept it a little more restrained. We would drift in and out of sexy, current affairs, and all other topics of conversation. Sometimes the toys were at a low buzz, and other times more intense. We, once or twice, ducked into the bathroom for a little making out. But the rule was ‘no sex until post restaurant.

By the end of the dinner, we were soooo excited to move on to phase two of the evening. For all four of us, being on that edge of ecstasy for so long… it was wonderful.

I won’t go into details on the second half of the evening, but you can only imagine the intensity of the release after hours of built anticipation.
