Nymphomania is a mental illness that is manifested by a woman's exacerbated sexual desire and urgent need for sex, so a nymphomaniac woman will never be fully satisfied sexually.

She will have a hard time reaching orgasm and will never be able to fully unleash her sexual energy, always being convinced that a sex game can be better and better, but she does not have the patience to get used to a certain partner.

Over time, there have been multiple explanations for nymphomania from both specialists and those who just wanted to express their point of view.

Among the main causes of nymphomania are the Oedipal conflict, the desire to receive certifications of femininity, and the unconscious attitude of revenge against men. The treatment, where it is needed, consists of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.

19th-century doctors treated nymphomania as an organic condition, while 20th-century psychologists and psychoanalysts pointed to low self-esteem or the Oedipus complex as causes.

The nymphomaniac woman is not necessarily a woman with a very high sexual desire, but rather a permanently sexually dissatisfied woman who tries to cure this "deficiency" by increasing sexual intercourse, in search of supreme pleasure.

A not insignificant detail is that most nymphomaniac women, like cold women, are victims of a traumatic childhood and too rigid an education.

Some of them have even suffered sexual or mental abuse such as pedophilia, rape, physical and verbal violence.

Nymphomania in the contemporary world

Contemporary culture and mentality, especially in Western countries, consider it perfectly normal for a woman to have her sexual desires, different from case to case, so that the labeling as a nymphomaniac is a remark often made out of malice and ignorance about this phenomenon. controversial.

The term "nymphomaniac" is often used vulgarly, in a pejorative sense, to refer to a woman with a higher than average sexual appetite, which is perceived as something positive by her partners.

What few people know is that nymphomania is a mental illness and not a physical condition. Moreover, it is a psycho-sexual disorder that occurs among women suffering from neurosis, depression, and mental imbalances.

When you talk about nymphomania, you are not talking about an intense or very intense sexual desire, because you may want to make love several times a day without being a nymphomaniac.

Genuine nymphomania, from a medical point of view, is characterized by deep sexual dissatisfaction, permanent frustration, and a search for the perfect sex match.

Nymphomania has always been viewed in various ways: organic disease, mental disorder, legal issues, and jokes.

In modern times, the sexually available woman has become an obsession and a frequent topic of discussion for many. Nymphomania arouses a curiosity that seems as intense as nymphomania itself.

Nymphomania was even talked about in the courtroom when defense lawyers portrayed rape victims as deviant people who were indirectly sexually assaulted or wanted sexual intercourse so much that they provoked it.

Did you think they escaped?

Men also suffer from nymphomania, but in their case, it is called satyriasis.

Men who suffer from satyriasis permanently want a sexual partner and their sexual behavior is abnormal, desire and arousal far exceeding normal limits.

Affected men have a very high sexual desire, but this is not a sufficient explanation for unusual behavior, because sexual desire manifests itself differently in different people. What is too much for some may mean too little for others.

However, there is a limit to the difference between normal sexual behavior and satirist. The man who suffers from Don Juan, for example, is so obsessed with sex that he becomes a burden to society.

A satirist, on the other hand, cannot refrain from sex, gets aroused quickly, and is stimulated very easily. Sometimes he can't control himself and becomes brutal with his partner, and as soon as he is satisfied, he feels the need for a new party. On the list of priorities and interests of satire, pure love and affection do not exist.

The causes are numerous and similar to those of nymphomania, namely: narcissism, inferiority complexes, and biological causes.

In modern times, the treatment of this condition consists of a visit to a psychologist and/or psychiatrist. In antiquity and the Middle Ages, however, castration was practiced. This is how the river was cut "from the root".

Did you know that?
