EXT. ROAD OUTSIDE TOWN - NIGHT

Kincaid, James, and Amy walk toward the demon house. Kincaid carries a bottle of AVIATION GIN.

James asks, "If you can control the dead, why not just get these guys to turn on each other?"

Kincaid responds, "A demon isn't a dead body, or a phantom. Hell changes it. Turns the once living human into a weapon. I can't control the entity it becomes."

Amy says, "We're almost there."

Kincaid replies, "Time to get into character."

Kincaid knocks on the door. It swings open. The three heroes are greeted by a DEN OF DEMONS. James puts his arm around Amy, pretending to be drunk. Kincaid staggers around in the rear, taking long swigs of gin.

Kincaid asks Amy, "Hey Helena, is this where the party at?"

Leonard Payne motions them inside, "The party is here. Come on in!"

INT. DEMON HOUSE - LATER

Kincaid, James, and Amy sit quietly on the furniture. There is a long, awkward silence. A dozen different demons stare at them.

Kincaid finally speaks, "I'm not going to lie, this isn't much of a party."

Leonard changes form. His demon shape appears, and he says, "We're just getting going."

The three remain stone-faced. They've seen more combined than most. Imagine Harry, Ron and Hermione only grown up.

Leonard changes back to human form, and says, "I usually get more of a reaction to that. Helena, where'd you find these jokers?"

Leonard gets close to James and sniffs him, then says, "Hang on! I remember this one. Hey, I already killed you!"

James cries, "That was my brother, you son of a bitch!"

Kincaid sighs, "There goes our surprise."

The DEN OF DEMONS change form.

Leonard shifts around and speaks to Helena, while keeping his eyes on James and Kincaid. "Well how do you like that? Baby, you do have one hell of an odd sense of humor. Brothers, huh? Okay then, this is going to seem awfully familiar. Grab him!"

Two demon henchmen grab James. Leonard reveals his firearm. Same one that was used to kill Adam. Leonard says, "Let's go!" then motions to the DEN, and back to Kincaid, "Keep him here!"

EXT. FOREST - MOMENTS LATER

The demons kick and push James along, laughing. Two or three more from the DEN decided to join in. Leonard leads the pack. He howls -- a sickening sound.

INT. DEMON HOUSE - CONTINUOUS

Kincaid sits still in his chair, and says, "This party still sucks." He takes a pull of gin straight from the bottle.

A DEMON GOON grabs the bottle from him, and shouts, "Give me that!"

DEMON GOON chugs back the gin, and then says, "What the hell is this? Not gin... water!"

Kincaid smiles, "Did I mention I'm not much of a drinker?"

DEMON GOON melts from the inside out.

Kincaid continues, "Holy water. Surprise number two."

Kincaid pushes back in his chair and flips it over, reverse shoulder back roll into poised ninja stance. He draws his sword, from inside his trench coat, and slashes down the two remaining demons. Easy slay. He looks at Amy, and asks, "You okay?"

Amy is shaking. She nods, and says, "Being here I remember."

Kincaid says, "We can't change the past. We can't change the things we've done -- the things the demon inside us made us do. However you can, make a difference in the future." He sheaths his sword.

EXT. FOREST

The demon party has reached a clearing. James is facedown, on the ground.

Leonard points his pistol at James. He asks, "No prayers? This is the end."

James mutters, "For you."

James explodes from the earth -- huge glowing wings of light levitating him off the ground. His body shines with DIVINE LIGHT.

James fires lightning from his hands, vaporizing Leonard Payne.

The rest of the party tries to scatter. James fires bolts of light into each demon. Only one man remains. He looks terrified. James raises his hand, ready to bring down the fire.

Kincaid and Amy arrive just in time. Kincaid calls out, "James, he's human! You know that."

James responds, "He killed my brother. He deserves to die."

Kincaid speaks as he draws closer, "If you kill him in cold blood, you will damn your soul."

James lowers his hand, and asks, "What do we do with him then?"

Kincaid replies, "Tie him up! Ask him some questions!"

INT. DEMON HOUSE - LATER

The HUMAN is tied-up to a chair.

Kincaid hollers at him, "Tell us what Silex is planning!"

Human retorts, "Screw off, demon hunter!"

James asks, "Should we hurt him?"

Kincaid replies, "The asshole masochist would probably like it."

Amy pipes in, "So would we."

Kincaid tells James, "There is one more angel ability I haven't told you about: DIVINE INFLUENCE. You can sway a mortal's mind, make him rethink a crime, or confess. Concentrate. Place your hand on his shoulder."

James touches Human's shoulder.

Human confesses, crying big tears, "When I was eleven, I stole my brother's tricycle."

"For the last time," Kincaid tells him, "We just want to know about Silex's plan!"

Human regains some composure, "From what I heard, he's going to cast a powerful spell. A game-changer. He wants to give Hell the power to convert a human soul into a demon soldier."

James scoffs, "What are you talking about? They already can do that."

Human shakes his head, "Before the soul passes to the afterlife. Once a mortal sin is committed, the soul will be theirs."

Kincaid ponders this, and says, "Eliminating the possibility of redemption."

Human responds, "Exactly."

James asks, "What does he need? Why hasn't he done it yet?"

Human replies, "He needs a sacrifice. One powerful soul he can give to the Devil as an offering."

"Who is the sacrifice?!" James demands.

Human shakes his head again, "None of us know."

Kincaid thinks aloud, "Most people are innocent. You can't just conjure a damned soul."

Human hisses at Amy, "I enjoyed watching his brother die."

Amy shoots Human through the chest. He dies. She lowers the smoking pistol. Leonard Payne's weapon. She spits, "Go to hell, you son of a bitch!"

Kincaid, "Oh n-"

Amy is retrieved by Silex; she is pulled through a portal in the wall. Kincaid and James run to the opening, but she's gone.
