The Heist Of A Lifetime
Little Surprises
She saw it, she craved it, she desired and now, desperately had to have it.
She plotted. She planned and she mapped out the details. The perfect way to make it happen.
She prepped. She prepared, prosing her arguments, proving her points. Perfectly positioned and poised to make her move.
Money was no object, but the best heists have nothing to do with money, do they?
She was rarely alone, so the element of surprise was one she would need to consider and carefully create.
For days, she would sneak away, moments at a time- so not to raise suspicions.
She discovered, she was pretty good at hiding her intentions. Her innocent smile and seemingly genuine expression, made it easy for her to pull off her best devious behavior, under the radar of her companion.
When the moment was right, she took advantage of the small, but ample sized window, to jump into action.
She had worked so hard to accomplish what she was about to do.
Sneaking out the door and into her car, she began her debut journey into that world of deception.
As she presented the new puppy, her daughter squealed, “best birthday present ever, thanks mom,”

Awww! What a wonderful twist! I seriously thought she was going for a donut or cake or something, LOL. A puppy is way better! Well done! 😎
I love this Kelli!!! I have to admit, I haven't been too thrilled about this heist challenge, but this has inspired me to be creative with it! 😍😍
A perfect twist! The only thing better was the fact that I was eating a warm chocolate chip cookie I'd just heisted from the cooling rack while I read it. Don't tell Pam! Great story, Kelli!
Pretty close to true, if not in fact right on the nose.
What a twist! I definitely did not see that coming :) This was a sweet and entertaining story.
Aww. This is great. Love that ending.
