Life’s highway has a way of tossing you some detours. You’re driving along, shades on, doing 80, cruising without a care, when, out of nowhere, BAM, road closed.

This is not a road you planned on taking. No. This is off roading without warning.

Life alone.

Brutal, cruel and sometimes, dangerously necessary.

Jump in without a life jacket, learn to swim or die, kind of trip.

What I found on this journey?

Is the road that led to me.

Traumas endured, resilience, strength & a sense of self previously unknown arduously discovered with a restored confidence & vitality & comfort with being you. I'm listening.

I love this because of the way you weaved the metaphor in to the very last line. Spectacular stuff, Kelli!
