THE GREAT BEYOND

Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. I am not sure of that at this moment. I can hear the cries coming from a huge black hole on the left of our space craft. The sounds are piercing with great agony and sadness. I can’t hear any type of communication just the cries. I stand on the dock looking out of the window as I hear the cries of the unknown. As we are steering away from the hole in the universe, we began to have some turbulence.

“Why is the ship shaking Carlton?” “I am trying to turn the ship towards the Omega coordinates, but it seems like we are being sucked inside that black hole.” Stated Carlton. “WHAT?!” “You’ve got to be kidding me?” stated Megan. She looked out front in shock as the ship kept shaking violently by the second. “Everyone get in your seat belts!” shouted Megan. The crew did just as she stated. Captain Joe rushed out of the meeting he was having with the other crew members. “What is happening?”

Megan stated, “Captain it seems we are having issues with the direction of our ship, we are being sucked into that black hole.” Captain Joe said, “Carlton and Deanna take the front line to ship all gears to the right, Al you get to the back end.” Everyone took position immediately upon command. Captain Joe continued, “Black hole are unpredictable, and we never know what to expect.” After fighting with the control of the ship they were defeated and sucked into the black hole despite all efforts of going in the opposite direction. They saw nothing but darkness and heard loud cries as they entered in. “What is this, hell?” shouted Carlton as they were being sucked inside. After a while they began to see various lights emerging as they saw land. They lost complete control of the ship and crashed into some land. There were small bushes and a few trees.

After the crash they sustained over sixty percent in damages, Captain Joe immediately called for the repair team to assess the situation and start on repairs. The remaining crew decided to explore, after putting on their space suits which provided oxygen they stepped off the ship. As soon as they stepped out of the place they say a huge flying creature with a triangular shaped head, six eyes, eight wings and two tails with multiple colors on the end. Carlton stated, "I don't think we're on the top of the food chain here." The remaining crew looked up in shock and felt chills. They breath a sigh of relief once the creature passed. Kelly a young crew member stated,"I'm ready to get back on the ship." The remaining crew ignored her and continued to walk through the trees and bushes.

They saw strange bugs large and small. They saw multiple colors and the sky was reddish purple and blue with two moons and one sun. Megan stated, "this place gives me the creeps." They then heard a loud roar and each on jumped. The roar even made the trees tremble, they began to feel the land quake and when they looked up they saw to huge creatures with scales over forty feet high fighting with each other. The battle was intense as each creature was clawing, scratching and hitting. Carlton began to film the fight while the other members of the crew was in shock and Kelly turned around to run back towards the ship. Before Megan can stop her it was too late, Kelly was gone, they could only see her back from a distance. As they were watching the fight some huge bugs similar to bees began to gather around them. The crew began to run as the bugs showed signs of hostile intent. The bugs chased them and Al was stung by one before they made it back to the ship. One bug managed to get in as they closed the doors and Carlton shot it.

Al's wound began to turn blue due to the sting. They sent him to the nurses station. Dr. Walker pulled the sting out and sat it in a jar to examine it for any poisons. He was not sure what he was dealing with, never seeing this type of species before. He asked Carlton to bring the remains of the bug he shot in hopes of finding an antidote for Al. Al began to have trouble breathing and was placed on an oxygen machine. They cleaned the wound and Dr. Walker tested his blood. The poison level within the sting was nothing he has ever seen and began running tests immediately.

Megan told Captain Joe what happened when they stepped out and he urged them not to leave the ship. A couple of days later and the ship was still not fully repaired. Thankfully the ship hasn't had any run ins with any strange, large creatures. All of a sudden they began to hear some roaring and then the ship began to shake. The weapons on the ship was damaged due to the crash. The only thing they could do was hope this would pass, but unfortunately the creature seemed angry and would not stop. As a result Captain Joe ordered the crew to gather all the food and necessities to leave the ship before the creature destroy the ship with them in it. They left the ship but not without a fight. They also had weapons, they began to shoot at the creature and the scaly thing only got angrier and began to attack the crew. With a swoop of his arm and fist the creature hit three crew members. Carlton shot the creature in one of it's eyes which really irritated it. "Shoot it in the eyes," Carlton shouted. They began to shoot it in the eyes and the creature ran off.

Once the creature was gone they looked at the remaining ship, it was in worse shape that it was at first. "What are we going to do now Captain?" asked Carlton. Captain Joe responded, "we have to get a team to watch the outside of the ship and we have to continue with repairs so we can leave this place." Once they entered the ship they discovered there was no power or anything, so they began to explore the outside world in hopes of gathering more supplies in the great beyond.
