This scene takes place in the 1980’s the place is in London, England on a train that is moving at a high rate of speed.

The horn blew and Rachel began to wake up with such a bad headache, she felt the bumps as if rocks were on the tracks. As she opened her eyes, her vision was blurry, but she saw a small, dim, light. “Where am I?” She said in a hoarse voice as she rubbed her eyes. “Stacy where are you?” As she looked around it was dark, and she could tell by the sound that she was on a train. She was sitting in a seat next to the window and it was dark outside. The dim light did not do her vision justice as she struggled to see, and her vision became clearer. She did not see anyone but quickly realized she was on a train. With no one around she became nervous.

All Rachel could remember was her being with her half-sister Stacy as they celebrated Rachel’s engagement at the party her parents gave her. Rachel’s biological mother passes away several years ago and Stacy was older than Rachel by two years. Even though Rachel’s father was married to her mom he was still fooling around with his secretary and got her pregnant. In order to keep it a secret he retired her at three months pregnant and bought her a house. During that time Rachel’s mom Leah didn’t think she could get pregnant, and they struggled to have children. Roy, Rachel’s father became frustrated and because of the charm of his secretary he fell for her. Stacy was Roy’s secret until Rachel’s mom passed away. A few weeks after the funeral Roy came home with Olivia which was Rachel’s new mom and Stacy which was ten years old, Rachel was eight. Rachel was surprised that her dad would move on so soon but realized later, that he cheated her mom.

Rachel had to take over most of the chores and she noticed that her dad favored Stacy more than her. Even though Stacy was spoiled she had freckles and struggled with her skin. Rachel’s skin was flawless and beautiful, this sparked jealousy in Stacy’s heart. Stacy would do things and say it was Rachel just to get her in trouble. No one believed Rachel when she spoke out for herself. One day in college Rachel which was an art major met Craig in her English class. She dropped a pencil, and he came and picked it up. It was if it was love at first sight for Craig, her innocent eyes, and her beautiful skin with long dark hair. From then on, he invited Rachel out for lunch and from then on, the two were inseparable. When her parents heard that Rachel was talking to someone, they invited him over for dinner. When they found out the Craig was Craig Adams, the son and sole heir of Adams technology their treatment for Rachel changed. This was their way of getting into the big leagues. Roy was a small businessman that owned a furniture store and accounting company. Even though he did well enough to have employees and six figure income, this didn’t set a match to Adam’s technology which was a multi-million-dollar company.

Stacy also fell in love with Craig when he was invited over and would occasionally flirt with him. Craig just blew her off because he only had eyes for Rachel. Stacy drugged Rachel that night at the club and now Rachel is on a train going God knows where.

Suddenly a little girl’s giggle interrupted her thoughts, “Whose there?” No response but then she heard little footsteps running but she could not determine where they were coming from. “Where are you?” Rachel could not see anything, but she could only hear the sounds. Then she got up to look to see if she could find her. “Where are you?” Rachel kept saying as she was walking. Then she felt a tap on her shoulder but when she turned around no one was there. “Whose there?” Rachel shouted; she was scared out of her wits at this point. Her voice even echoed as if she was the only one on the train. “Hello, is anyone there?” She said softly. Then she heard the same giggling again from behind, yet when she turned around no one was there. Then she tripped and fell as she was walking in the aisle. When she looked it was a bald, pale man that was stiff dead with his eyes bucked open as if something scared him to death. She screamed jumped up and ran into the next cabin. When she stepped inside there was a couple of lights on. “Is anyone here?” But there was still no response.

Rachel decided to go the first cabin she decided surely there is an engineer that is driving this train. She began to make her way there. Once she entered the other cabin, she felt a little relieved that she could see a little better. But then as soon as she thought that the lights began to flicker on and off. “Oh no you don’t,” she said. But that did not help the lights went of completely. She began to walk slowly so that she wouldn’t trip and fall. Even though she was walking slowly it did not help, someone pushed her down from behind and once she fell. She turned around to see a huge man with a hunch back, pale skin and no eye sockets looking down at her and reaching to grab her. Rachel freaked out and backed and away, she hopped up and ran as fast as she could into the next cabin. She was breathing so loud she could hear herself. She never been so frighted in her life. She kept turning around to see if the guy was following her and when she turned again, she saw two children. One was an eight- or nine-year-old boy with a blue dress suit on and a black tie, he looked as if he had been playing all day outside due to the dirt stains and he looked traumatized. Next to him was little girl around the same age with a white dress on with blue and yellow flowers. She also looked traumatized and filthy. Both children pointed at her at the same time silently and neither one of them had any eye sockets. Rachel screamed at the sight, they looked truly scary. She jumped over the seats and ran into the next cabin which was pitch dark.

She kept thinking, where am I and how did I get on this train? Where am I going, who are these people, are they ghost? Many unanswered questions as tears were streaming down her face. As she was thinking of these things, she heard a loud sound as if a door was opened and slammed shut. Rachel jumped and looked around, but she didn’t see anyone, as soon as she turned back around, she saw the guy that pushed her down grab her arm. She screamed and hit him so he could release her. Her licks did not help her situation because he began to pull her toward him. She then bit him hard, and he released her, and she ran in the opposite direction. As she ran, she could hear children giggling.

She was highly upset; this is the opposite direction of where I was headed, she said to herself. My sister and her mom sent me here to die. She found a bat in the back of the train once she reached the other cabin. She picked it up in hopes of defending herself next time she ran into trouble. She could feel the cool breeze of a cracked window as the lights were dimmed on this cabin. When will this end, she thought to herself? As she was thinking that she felt a sharp pain on her arm and she looked over and saw blood coming out, as she looked in horror, she saw the same little girl from earlier holding a knife in her hand. She began to run again not looking back. As she kept running, she saw the little boy and this time she remembered, “I have a bat!” With that revelation she swung and knocked the little boy in the head causing him to fall as she ran past him. She decided that the little girl and boy was surely not on her side after being cut.

She ran into another cabin but this time the lights were bright, and she could hear music and she even saw people dressed in formal clothing. She approached this woman with brown, long hair, wearing a light pink gown, “excuse me I need help.” The woman kept talking with the other two ladies as if Rachel was invisible. Rachel began to get louder, “I need help, someone please help me!” But no one even looked at her or acknowledged her. Rachel was highly upset, and she tried to touch the lady to get her attention, but her hand went straight through her. “Am I invisible,” she thought to herself. Then she turned and saw the little and girl and boy approaching her. The little girl still had the knife in her hand, Rachel ran out of that cabin and into the next one.

This specific cart had a couch and two beds in it. She saw an attendant in there pouring something to drink. The attendant looked over at Rachel and asked her, “Would you like something to drink?” Rachel said, ‘No but I need your help! I have been cut and I don’t know where I am or how I got here or anything!” Rachel exclaimed as she was crying. The attendant stated, “it’s okay dear we will take good care of you.” The attendant sat Rachel down on the couch and poured her some water. “Please have some,” stated the attendant. Rachel calms down and began to drink the water. After a few minutes she began to get dizzy.

Rachel woke up in a different cabin, this time the cabin was dim with barely any lighting, and she could not move. She was chained up to a wall by her hands. Her bat was also gone. I knew I shouldn’t have trusted her, Rachel thought to herself as she struggled to break free. Blood was still leaking from her arm, and she was feeling a bit weak. She wasn’t sure how long she had been out, but it looked like the train had no intentions of stopping or slowing down. Rachel began to cry, thinking, “is this how my life ends?” After a while it seemed as if no one was coming so she began to look for a way out of the chains. They weren’t as tight around her wrist, so she continued to pull her hands out of the cuffed chains. After a few minutes of struggle, she was finally free even though it cost her some skin and much pain. She got up and was confused on which direction to turn to, however she decided to go towards the direction she thought would lead to the train driver. As she continued to the next cabin it was dark and she could hear and see small rats running around. She began to squeal as they ran past her feet. Her breathing was erratic. “Get away!” Rachel squealed as they were running around. She saw an old janitor sweeping the floor. Rachel asked him, “sir can you please help me?” He turned around slowly, with a pale face and a slow soft spoken deep voice he said, “No one can help you; this is the train that leads to nowhere.” Then he turned back around and ignored her and continued to sweep the floor as if he did not see the rats running around. Rachel said, “but sir you have to help me, please!” He continued sweeping as if she wasn’t even there.

Then the little girl appeared in front of her out of thin air. Rachel screamed and ran but not before the little girl stabbed her in the leg. Rachel cried out in pain as she fell, and the blood began oozing out of her leg. She kicked the little girl and jumped-up limping as she ran. The next cabin contained pictures of the little girl she saw and the little boy. They were holding hands and they had on all black. They seemed happy in the picture, and they had their eye sockets. Rachel wondered what happened to them. Rachel figured she must have seen the dead version of them and that they probably died somehow. I must get out of here, then she heard a sound of someone’s footsteps and Rachel hid underneath the seat. It was the big guy from earlier, Rachel was so nervous to the point that she backed up and hit her elbow on the wall. The man turned around and looked in her direction, it was if time froze for her, the blood was dripping from her leg and her heart was thumping loudly, she covered up her mouth so she wouldn’t make a sound, then he saw a couple of rats coming from the same direction. Rachel almost screamed when she saw those three rats, since the guy thought it was the rats, he then grabbed something out of the drawer and left. Rachel breath a sigh of relief as she saw him turn from her and leave, she thought her heart would thump out of her chest, it was beating so loud.

Rachel got up and ran in the opposite direction, she decided she did not want to have to fight such a big guy and since her bat was taken away, she could only depend on her own strength. As she limped to the next cabin it was rather quiet. Rachel got nervous as she had an uneasy feeling that things were not that simple. She continued to limp into the next cabin but then she saw the little boy behind her. She squealed and he pushed her down, he climbed on her began slapping her face until it was swollen, and red. Rachel punched the little boy and pushed him off, running into the next cabin. Rachel felt suffocated at this point as if breathing was hard work, she lost too much blood and her vision was beginning to turn blurry. Finally, she made it to the first cabin, she saw a man sitting at the front with a cowboy hat on. “Excuse me sir can you please help me.” He then turned around and he was pale, with no eye sockets and let out a loud screeching sound that could break windows if it were an octave higher. Rachel screamed too as the last bit of hope was drained out of her at the sight of him.

“Where am I?” Stacy asked as she woke up on a train. She had a bad headache, and her mom was sleep sitting next to her. “MOM, MOM WAKE UP!” Stacy shouted. Her mom finally woke up asking the same question, “where are we a how did we get here?” Stacy replied with an attitude, “I was hoping you could tell me.” Stacy was enjoying the attention she was getting since Rachel went missing couple of weeks ago. Stacy spread a vicious rumor stating Rachel ran off with a guy she had a one-night stand with after getting pregnant from him. No one questioned her story, and no one bothered to look for Rachel. Craig was heartbroken and began to move on with his life. Stacy did not show no remorse and would contact Craig continuously flirting with him. As they were talking, they say a little girl and little boy walk up. They looked at them but said nothing. Stacy asked, “hey guys do you know how we got here or where we’re headed?” The pair of children said nothing but walked away slowly.

“How rude!” stated her mom, then they say someone walk up and they recognized her. “Rachel is this where you been all this time, dad has been worried sick,” said Stacy. Rachel said nothing but only looked at them. Rachel was wearing shades when they saw her, and it did not add up since the cabin had dim lighting in there. Stacy shouted, “Rachel! Answer me did you have something to do with us coming here?” Rachel didn’t say anything, but only smiled. Stacy shouted, “ANSWER ME!” as she jumped up and slapped Rachel across the face. Once she slapped Rachel her shades flew off her face, but they still could not see her face. Rachel then slowly turned around and when she did, she had not eye sockets and she let a screeching scream as she reached for Stacy. You could hear the screams of Stacy and her mom coming from the cabin as the cabin moved from side to side because of the fighting. Suddenly it was nothing, but silence and the train showed no signs of slowing down.
