The Elephant and The Snail

That was the biggest elephant in the forest and was patrolling the forest with his herd at that time. He was walking through dense trees, picking up various fruits and leaves. The passing of those elephants made it seem as if the earth was shaking.

When he heard the roar of the elephant, he came out of the place where he was hiding and slowly crawled to the wall of the enclosure where the elephant was imprisoned. The elephant was standing on the other side of the wall. The snail recognized him immediately. He asked the elephant, "My friend, why are you shouting so loudly because I am in captivity and I can't get out of here." The elephant smiled and told the snail. Can i help you The snail asked the elephant and the elephant laughed. Not at all, what can a snail like you do for me.

Can you break the fence? Can you open the gate? No, you are a useless snail and can do nothing. The elephant made fun of the snail. But can other elephants help you? The snail never dreamed that one day he would sit on the head of an elephant and ride on it. The herd of elephants made their way back so fast that they reached the enclosure before evening. The elephant said to the snail, then he quietly got down from the elephant's head and hid in the bushes and from there he sat watching the spectacle with great enthusiasm. Then came a roar and all the elephants in the herd pushed hard to tear down the wall. The door slammed shut like elephants.

Then the herd of elephants turned and entered the forest. The herd now included the three elephants that had been imprisoned before. And now they were free and roared happily with the rest of the elephants. The prisoner was very grateful to the snail.

He apologized that he was making fun of him. I had no idea that I was saving my life out of pity for you and a small thing like you could save my life. One should never think that even a small thing made by God can be of use to anyone. The snail looked at the laughing elephant and got lost in the long grass.
