Title: The Eighth Wonder

This is the 2nd short story of the installment.

(Notes: The story features Hannah, Ryan, and John who previously appeared as supporting essences in my stories. In this story they are the lead characters.)

Chapter 1: Prologue

After successfully apprehending a famous gangster Lincoln in Madrid, Hannah, Ryan, and John receive praise and recognition from their respective department. Hannah works in the FBI Chicago, Ryan is a famous secret agent at the SIS of the UK (MI6), and John is a senior officer at the SIA of UAE.

Currently, Europe is threatened by a hacker. He is using deep fake and AI to expose a few politicians. The hacker is stealing money from a few politicians and legal authorities. They are from Spain, Germany, and Austria. The hacker is also using deep fake and creating videos that show a few legal authorities and politicians are involved in money laundering and involvement with the gangsters.

A few politicians explained that this is a conspiracy theory through the media.

Chapter 2: The Union or Reunion?

The name of the hacker is Raphael. He didn’t reveal his face to anyone but his name to a few legal authorities. However, due to lack of proof, they fail to apprehend him.

As the case became complicated, it was reached to the Interpol. They have contacted Mark Daniels (one of the main supporting essences in ‘The White Sparrow: A Pursuit for Justice’). So, he calls Hannah, Ryan, and John to visit London. They have arranged a meeting.

Mark told them about the mission over a dinner party. Hannah asked him why he chose them for this mission. In reply, Mark said that the senior SWARF members are either busy or are on leave or a break after their last mission. In addition, Mark told them the skills that are required in this mission can only be done by the trio.

Mark also said that the SWARF team had demolished the entire Reptile gang who were planning to create a virus and set up a monopoly in the medical sector. Meanwhile, it’s Hannah, Ryan, and John assisted them by arresting Lincoln while they were on a vital mission.

After telling them about Raphael, a secret hacker, Mark requests Hannah, Ryan, and John to use their skills again.

Chapter 3: Face Unveiled

The Trio (Hannah, Ryan, and John) assembled again to apprehend Rapahel. At first, they traveled to Berlin. After investigating a lot of things about Raphael’s actions, they discovered that only a specific few politicians and legal authorities were targeted.

All of a sudden, Hannah, Ryan, and John receive a video call. Their computers in the office got hacked. A person’s face appeared on the screen. It’s Raphael. For the first time, he showed his face.

At first, Raphael praised them for their effort but later challenged them that they couldn’t find him. In addition, he will expose a few remaining politicians who are on his list. Somehow, after finding the location of a few politicians, the trio went to Vienna and then Madrid. However, they fail to stop Raphael who already stole money from them using his hacking skills.

Later, the trio receives another video call from Raphael. He revealed that the politicians and the legal authorities are not innocent beings. They are corrupted. Once they were associated with a late evil gangster Fury Cartel who killed his elder sister. Fury was encountered by Interpol 2 years ago. However, the corrupted authorities are still alive and using the black money given by Fury.

Raphael’s activity is nothing but an act of revenge.

Chapter 4: The Moment of Truth

After hearing the truth from Raphael, the trio wants to assist him. This time, Hannah, Ryan, and John assembled to apprehend the corrupt politicians and the legal authorities.

The real videos and footage have been verified by Hannah, Ryan, and John. Later, they disclose it in front of the media. The trio says that they will arrest Raphael for sure but at first, they want the citizens to stay safe from corrupted legal authorities. Thus, Interpol arrested 20 corrupt political and legal personalities who are associated with the late evil gangster Fury.

Two days later, the trio receives a call from Raphael who asks them to visit near a waterfall. He will surrender but all he wants is only the trio to be at the place with him. So, Hannah, Ryan, and John went to the place without any crew.

Raphael came there wearing a red hoodie and a mask. He has a bag in his hand. As the trio comes out from their car, Raphael opens his face. The trio is shocked after looking at Raphael's appearance. It’s an 18-year-old boy and his name is Cedric.

Hannah politely asks him where Raphael is. Cedric revealed that Raphael is an AI and he doesn’t exist in humankind. The story of Raphael is also a made-up story by him. Cedric did this to save his orphanage school from getting auctioned. The corrupt authorities tricked his principal and auctioned the school. The money Cedric receives from them, he uses to save his orphanage school. However, a little money remains unused and he is going to return it. Cedric asked Hannah to donate this money to UNICEF. After that, Cedric asks the trio to arrest him as he is surrendering.

However, the trio didn’t arrest him.

Chapter 5: Epilogue

Hannah, Ryan, and John told the truth to Mark. He praised them for their bravery and said that they did a great job.

Mark asked them if he could have the chance to meet Cedric, as the boy was intelligent. Hannah calls Cedric and he also joins the table. Mark, after praising his talent and skills, asked him if he could join their team to assist them in the future. Cedric agrees.

Later, Cedric went to Chicago with Hannah and joined the CISA.
