The White Sparrow: A Pursuit for Justice

This is the sixth long story of the installment.

Chapter 1

2018,

A girl named Fiona Reynolds lives with her parents in Dallas, Texas, USA. Her parents are famous journalists in the city. Fiona is a chemistry student and is also skillful in karate and martial arts. She has received several medals in her school. Currently, she has just graduated from college. Her parents Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds are currently covering the encrypted information about an evil gangster group known as the “Shadow Gang”. The group is led by a most wanted gangster, Victor Marconi.

Fiona’s parents are influential but Marconi is far more dangerous. One day, Fiona’s life changed unexpectedly. She was returning home from his office where she was doing an internship. She returned home and found her parents died. They were driving their car which later collided with a truck.

Chapter 2

Fiona is devastated by the loss of her parents. At their funeral, she is consoled by her neighbors and friends. Later, she went to their office and discovered that they were in a string operation to uncover the mission of Victor Marconi and his gang. She also realized that Victor planned the accident to murder her parents.

The next morning, Fiona finds the martial arts certificates she achieved in her student life while cleaning her wardrobe. Her eyes also went towards a sword that she received as a recognition in her college days. Fiona looks at her parents' photograph (with teary eyes) and seeks revenge.

She decides to demolish the Shadow gang and their entire existence. Fiona also vows to kill Marconi by her own hands. Thus, she started self-training for a solo mission.

Chapter 3

Three years later,

A drug mafia was exporting drugs at a port in Istanbul, Turkey. Suddenly, a few bombs came and demolished the drugs. The explosion didn’t kill anyone. A stainless ball came and left a message. It’s from Fiona. The message indicates that the White Sparrow (Fiona’s pseudonym) will erase the existence of the entire shadow gang and their business.

Later, Fiona traveled to Hong Kong in search of Victor Marconi. However, it wasn’t an easy task to find him, as Victor left no trace behind and he is hard to be apprehended. Fiona faced a few minor hurdles in Hong Kong. Her path crossed with a few gang members of the shadow gang. However, Fiona (as White Sparrow) killed them.

Later she discovers that the influence of Victor Marconi is not restricted but far beyond what no one can ever imagine.

The White Sparrow travels to Monaco on her third journey. One by one she started to demolish the illegal business of the shadow gang. There, she saved a few orphan children who were forced by Victor’s men into drug trafficking. After killing those gang members in Monaco, Fiona rescued the kids.

The news has been reached to Victor Marconi. He was wondering who is this ‘White Sparrow’ and what's her intention. So, he called a secret gang member Shadow, and asked her to get ready.

Chapter 4

At Monaco, after rescuing the orphans, Fiona’s path crossed with Mark Daniels, a senior Interpol officer of Florida who came here to apprehend the shadow gang members. The Interpol authority has assigned him to apprehend Victor and his gang. He has been trying to catch him for the last five years but failed. Victor is so cunning and clever.

Mark told Fiona that her parents were so close to him. Fiona requests him to include her in this mission to apprehend Victor. At first, Mark hesitated but later agreed. For this mission, he designated her as a secret spy.

Fiona: Thank You!

Mark: You’re welcome.

Fiona: Should I call you sir or uncle?

Mark: I prefer ‘Sir’. But, as you are a part of the team now, you can also call me by my name.

(Both laugh and shake their hands.)

Fiona joins Mark and his team and they board a special jet and head towards Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. During the journey, Mark tells Fiona about Victor’s intentions about child and drug trafficking. That’s why Victor is the most wanted gangster on the Interpol list.

On the other side, Victor prepared Shadow who is a notorious assassin to stop the White Sparrow.

Chapter 5

Fiona and Mark successfully reached Rio with their team members. Their first mission is to stop Emanuel, a gang member of the shadow gang and an ally of Victor Marconi. As per the local police, he abducted a few students from a school and might later include them in their evil organizations. The parents of those children are so desperate. Several child missing reports have been recorded for the last 2 months. As a result, it becomes hard for the local police authority to control the situation. In addition, they fail to arrest Emanuel and trace his location.

Fiona as the White Sparrow discovers the location of Emanuel. She informs Mark about it. Thus, he with his team enter the location. Fiona was also present at the place. After a heavy gunfight and combat, the White Sparrow and their team manage to free 60 children who were abducted by Emanuel. One of them was an orphan (a 12-year-old boy) who lives in a slum. His name is Luiz. So, Mark tells the police that they will take care of the little boy until someone adopts him.

Later, the local police arrested Emanuel. After the mission, Mark sends Fiona to find the location of Victor. After facing a few minor hurdles, Fiona successfully traced Victor. However, she isn’t aware of the fact that a bigger threat is waiting for her at the place. It’s Shadow, who is an infamous assassin and an important member of the ‘Shadow Gang’. Fiona gets caught by the gang members.

During interrogation, Emanuel reveals to Mark that Victor might be dangerous, but there’s another person who is far more dangerous and is hard to stop. Emanuel tells Victor that Shadow is the one who was driving the truck that ultimately killed Fiona’s parents.

Mark rushes to his teammates and asks about Fiona’s location. He tried to contact her via phone but failed. So, the team members inform him about Fiona’s location. They also told him that the GPS gets disconnected at a certain place.

Shadow finds the GPS on Fiona’s attire and breaks it. She beat her mercilessly and tied her with a rope and chair. Victor joins them and reveals how Shadow killed Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds. Now, they will kill Fiona too, Victor threatened. Mark is on his way with his team to rescue Fiona.

Victor, Shadow, and their team members set the place on fire and left Fiona alone to die. Mark came and rescued Fiona. However, a bomb exploded and injured him.

Chapter 6

At the hospital, Mark is cured. However, the doctor told him to take rest for one month. Fiona reached out to him and he apologized.

Mark: I’m sorry.

Fiona: For what?

Mark: I wish I could assist you.

Fiona: It’s okay. Take rest.

Mark: I know.

(Mark gets out of his bed and sits on it)

Mark: Can you promise me, one thing?

Fiona: I will.

Mark: No matter what happens, please don’t stop. Kill Victor and demolish the entire ‘Shadow Gang’. Took the revenge of your parent’s death. Do it in your own style, just try to stay alive.

Fiona assures Mark that she will do exactly what he told her and asks him to rest till he completely recovers.

Victor and Shadow are on their way to leave Rio with their encrypted file and suitcase via their private jet. The file contains the upcoming plans and strategies related to the expansion of the Shadow Group. Fiona reached the place as the White Sparrow. She beats and kills the gang members one by one before she finally reaches the jet. The White Sparrow stops the jet with her weapons.

After that, Shadow and Victor came out from the jet. A fiery combat started between Fiona and Shadow. After a heavy fight, Fiona gets injured and falls to the ground. Shadow kicked her and emerged victorious. Fiona’s eyes started flashing with the memories of her parents. So, she wakes up and is ready for another fight.

Fiona utilized her martial arts skills and gave Shadow a tough fight. After a heavy tough fight again, Fiona overpowers Shadow and kills her.

Later, Victor came in front of Fiona and gave her an offer if she could join their team. Fiona rejects the offer and kills Victor with the sword she won in her college days. After that, she destroys the encrypted file of the ‘Shadow Gang’.

Thus, she not only killed Victor but also demolished the entire existence of his gang.

Epilogue: A New Inception

Finally, after a month Mark gets properly cured.

For her bravery, Fiona received flowers and other recognitions. Mark gives her a medal.

Fiona becomes a permanent Interpol agent. She adopted the 12-year-old orphan boy, Luiz (as her brother) who was abducted by Emanuel in Rio.

Fiona placed a flower bouquet on her parents’ grave with her adopted brother. Mark was also present there with his team. He told Fiona that her parents from heaven must be so proud of her.

Both share a hug and smile and get into each other’s car.

Post Scripts (Post-credit)

Present Day,

At the FBI Office in New York,

Jacob (One of the main supporting essences in previous stories and one of the main characters in "Carnation") tried to call someone but failed as the number was unreachable. So he sent a voice message.

Jacob (via voice message):

“I know what happened to one of your teammates is painful and I wish him a speedy recovery. All you need is to stay calm. While dealing with the evil, don’t become like them. This time our enemy is not a human. He is invisible but dangerous. One small mistake and the entire world can get destroyed.”

Meanwhile, in Singapore,

A man (to whom Jacob has sent the voice message) wearing a hoodie and a face mask is beating and killing evil gangsters and drug mafias at their encrypted place.

Then, the man lit the place on fire with a lighter. Then, he slowly removed his mask and hoodie cap. Finally, the person reveals his face. It’s Evan (the protagonist of “Scorpio: A Quest Against Deception”).

After killing 15 gangsters and drug mafias and firing the place, Evan started walking. His face is full of anger and his eyes are longing for vengeance.
