Before you start reading this story, you should read the previous(above) stories. It will be better for your understanding.

The following story is a set of five short stories (each consisting of 500 words approx.). It's a prequel.

Carnation

According to the birth flower chart, the 'Carnation' flower represents the people born in January. It signifies the meaning of 'beginning' and 'rebirth' (The carnation flower also represents 'love', 'hope', and 'loyalty'.). The following set of stories indicates the same.

Episode 1: The Game of Pawns

The story is about Jacob Carter, one of the main supporting characters in my previous stories. Currently, he is the head of FBI New York and also establishing a secret spy team to fight against drug trafficking and other illegal activities. However, he also started from somewhere, he was also a junior.

Almost 25 years ago,

Jacob just joined the FBI with the blood of youth running in his veins. He became a team member of Damian Rodriguez who is famous as an encounter specialist. Damian sets his team on a mission to bring down an evil gangster, Martin Cartel who killed his fiancee.

However, during a shootout, Martin and his team members killed Damian. It broke the hearts of Jacob and other FBI members. During Damian’s funeral, Jacob vows that he will take revenge by demolishing Martin and his team members.

Jacob used to idolize him a lot. Damian’s special quote inspired him positively. He used to say, “If the pawns refuse to play, the game of chess can’t be played. Never underestimate the power of a pawn.”

Utilizing the quote in his head, Jacob went on a mission with his other team members without the order of the FBI to demolish Martin and his gang. Later, Jacob completed his mission. He and his team not only killed Martin and his gang but also demolished their entire business. Later, Jacob receives a bravery award and a medal for his courage. The seniors also praised his leadership approaches.

Present Day,

Jacob observes his old photographs and medals in the office. Suddenly his eyes went towards a picture where he is receiving an offer letter from Damian. He looked at the picture, smiled, and said, “Thank you, sir, for making me what I am today”.

Then his office telephone rings and his assistant picks up the phone.

Assistant: Sir, someone from Virginia wants to talk with you.

Jacob: Sure. Just wait 2 minutes, I’m coming.

Then, Jacob closed his drawer and slowly went towards his desk.

Episode 2: Love and Humanity

The story is about Aditi Das, the mother of Akash Das (one of my lead spy characters and one of the main protagonists in “Dragonfly: The Devil’s Deception” and “Triplicate: A Devil in Disguise”). In this story, you will discover why Akash is so brave, and yes t it’s because of his brave mother.

Almost 30 years ago,

Aditi was an orphan and rescued by a few local people in a village in West Bengal, India. They raised her. The locality is famous for manufacturing natural ayurvedic medicines and supplying raw materials to various medicine companies across the globe. The majority population of that area is female (80% female and 20% male). Thus, so many female workers have to move to another town after they get married.

Several years passed, and now Aditi is a mature 26-year-old woman. One day, she rescued a man from drowning. His name was Raj Das, a nomad scientist. He is returning to Kolkata from Vietnam by boat, but due to a thunderstorm, his boat breaks down and he drowns. He thanked Aditi and the local people for saving his life.

One day, he approached Aditi and offered her money and gifts, as she saved his life. Aditi refuses to take any gifts.

Raj: Okay, then what do you want? You saved my life and I want to give you something. Please don’t say no.

Aditi: Can you give me what I want?

Raj: Of course, as you saved my life I can give you anything.

Aditi asked Raj for a child. Raj hesitated at first, but Aditi told him everything about her wish. As she saves him, Raj agrees to tie the knot with Aditi. So, the couple get married and they give birth to a baby boy, Akash.

A few more years passed, and Akash is now a 7-year-old kid. One day Raj reveals to Aditi that Raj has a hole in his heart and might not survive so many years. An explosion occurred while he was inventing a medicine in Thailand almost a decade ago. Thus, after a few years, Raj dies due to a heart disease. However, he left numerous fortune for Aditi and Akash in the City of Joy.

Akash is now an 11-year-old boy with an ambitious mindset. Yet, the education resources in the village are limited. One day, a few evil village authorities offer Aditi a huge amount of money to reserve Akash for marriage. When Akash turns 18, a few village women can use Akash to create babies in their wombs, as there aren’t enough men in the village compared to women. Aditi was against it and she made no less effort to protect her son from them.

One day, the Village Head who is a good person gives punishment to the evil village authorities and sends them to imprisonment. Later, the village head suggests Aditi move to Kolkata with Akash where he will also receive a proper education. Thus, Aditi moved to Kolkata with Akash and admitted him to a local school.

After completing school education, Akash was admitted to college and enrolled in a hotel management course.

At present, Akash is not only a part-time spy but also a successful entrepreneur who owns a famous international restaurant chain and has over six restaurants in the world (London, New York, Birmingham, Florida, Sydney, and Tokyo). Meanwhile, Aditi has her school in London where she teaches Meditation and Zumba to people of all age groups.

Episode 3: The Rebirth

The story is about John Taylor, one of the supporting characters who appeared in “Triplicate: A Devil in Disguise”. Currently, he is associated with the Signal Intelligence Agency (SIA) of UAE.

He is a trusted ally of George (One of the main spy characters and one of the main protagonists in “Dragonfly: The Devil’s Deception” and “Triplicate: A Devil in Disguise” ).

Almost 15 years ago,

John was part of a gangster group known as the “Termites”. He was involved in drug exporting and importing in Jordan. Somehow, John wanted to leave this shadow behind and start to live a normal life. One day, when a few Amman city police authorities came to seal their illegal business. The gang members fled. They cheated John who was arrested by the police. However, he was injured.

John wakes up and finds himself in Abu Dhabi, UAE. A few intelligence agencies took him to the hospital for interrogation. After discovering the truth. John assures them he is against the Termite gang’s illegal drug business and wants to live a normal life. So, one of the superior persons in the UAE armed forces provides him a chance and offers him to be a part of their team in bringing down those drug mafias. John agrees and joins the SIA as a spy.

He performed his duty with honesty, the legal authorities were impressed by his dedication. One by one he arrests all the gang members of the Termite gang who wanted to establish a drug business in the Middle-East region.

The senior authorities praised John for his bravery and he received a permanent position at the SIA in Abu Dhabi. He also received several medals and recognition.

At present, John is in a higher position and serves the SIA with honesty.

Episode 4: Two is Better than One

The story is about the Jackson couple, Carl and Jessica Jackson (Two of my supporting characters appeared in the “Ladybug: A Mother’s Redemption”). The couple serves the Federal Intelligence Service, aka BND of Germany.

10 years ago,

Carl and Jessica’s paths crossed together when they just joined the Federal Intelligence Service of Germany as newcomers. They were associated with a team of 17 members. They started accomplishing several missions together.

Three years later,

The city of Berlin is under threat of child and drug trafficking. Several children started missing from their school. Carl investigated the matter and found a few suspicious things. He informed it to Jessica and two of his superiors.

The two superiors send Carl and Jessica on an encrypted mission to Stockholm. After overcoming minor hurdles, they collected a pen drive consisting of a bunch of information. Based on the information, they headed towards Baku, Azerbaijan. During the journey, Carl and Jessica found comfort and started generating feelings for each other.

With the help of local police and legal authorities, they have arrested an evil gangster who is one of the masterminds behind child and drug trafficking. Later, they went to Monaco to apprehend the main mastermind, Leonardo Armstrong. He is on the most wanted list of BND from the last decade.

Carl and Jessica successfully apprehended the main mastermind and set the children free. The children returned to their parents safely. After this mission, Carl and Jessica receive promotions. Their seniors are also impressed and salute their efforts. Carl proposes to Jessica and they get married.

At present, Carl and Jessica are a happily married couple and serve the BND of Germany with dedication and honesty.

Episode 5: The Hornet

The story is about a new character and his name is Ryan Morgan. He was a gangster and his nickname was ‘Hornet’. However, at present, he is living an honest life and serving the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) in Manchester, UK.

15 years ago,

Ryan is a famous gangster known as ‘Hornet’, ruling the streets of Edinburgh and other European cities. However, when his senior evil gangsters were planning to spread illegal drug trafficking, he left the gangster world. However, he was still drug-addicted. Ryan was rescued by a SIS officer in the UK, Mrs. Jennifer Brown. Later, he was sent to rehab and was cured. After that, Jennifer offers him to join the SIS as he completely recovered from his past. Ryan accepted it.

Five years later,

An evil gangster Magnus Flint threatens the SIS. He warned them that slowly he was going to spread drug trafficking across Europe and also in the UK. Jennifer chooses Ryan for an encrypted mission. Thus, Ryan is set on a mission to stop Magnus.

His journey started in Budapest where he gathered a few information. After that, he went to Norway. During his missions, Ryan faced numerous hurdles which he overcame with his intelligence and bravery.

After that, he went to Vienna to catch Magnus who was also planning to make a nuclear weapon that he could use to blackmail several defense authorities across the globe. Ryan managed to kill the gang members but Magnus fled away to Rome, Italy. So he traveled there as well. After collecting all the information, he discovers that Magnus is planning a serial bomb blast in Manchester during Halloween time.

Ryan informed it to Jennifer. They made a plan and stopped Magnus from creating massive destruction. Ryan managed to kill Magnus and demolished all his plans. The people in the UK celebrate the assassination of evil gangster, Magnus.

Later, Jennifer and other superiors praised Ryan for his bravery.

At present, Ryan Morgan serves the SIS of the UK with honesty and proper dignity.
