Once upon a time, there was a clown who ate spiders. He lived in a small town, and everyone knew him. He was a kind and gentle clown, and he loved to make people laugh. But he also had a secret: he ate spiders.

One day, the clown was walking through the forest when he saw a spiderweb. He stopped to admire it, and then he saw the spider. The spider was big and hairy, and it looked very scary. But the clown wasn't afraid. He reached out and picked up the spider.

The spider was surprised, but it didn't try to bite the clown. The clown put the spider in his mouth and ate it. The spider tasted delicious!

The clown realized that he loved eating spiders. He started to eat them every day. He would go into the forest and find spiders to eat. He would also catch spiders in his house and eat them.

The people in the town were starting to get worried about the clown. They had never seen anyone eat spiders before. They thought that the clown was crazy.

One day, the clown was walking down the street when he saw a group of children playing. The children saw the clown, and they started to run away.

"Don't be afraid," the clown said. "I won't hurt you."

But the children didn't believe him. They kept running away. They were scared he would eat them like he did the spiders.

The clown was sad. He didn't want the children to be afraid of him. He wanted them to know that he was a kind and gentle clown.

The clown decided to do something to make the children like him. He went to the library and checked out a book about spiders. He learned everything he could about spiders.

The next day, the clown went back to the park where the children were playing. He sat down on a bench and started to talk to the children. He told them all about spiders. He told them how spiders are important to the environment. He told them how spiders can help to control pests.

The children were fascinated by the clown's stories. They started to ask him questions about spiders. The clown answered all of their questions.

The children started to trust the clown. They realized that he was not crazy. They realized that he was a kind and gentle clown.

The children started to play with the clown. The clown was dressed in a colorful costume and had a big red nose. He made the children laugh with his jokes and funny faces. The children played tag and hide-and-seek with the clown. They ran around and laughed and had a lot of fun. The clown was a great entertainer and the children loved playing with him.

The clown was happy. He had finally made friends with the children. He had been trying to make friends with them for weeks, but they were always scared of him. He had tried everything he could think of to make them laugh, but nothing worked. Finally, when he decided to just be himself, the children changed their feelings. But only when he stopped trying to be funny and just talked to them like they were normal people. To his surprise, they finally started to warm up to him. They told him about their lives and he told them about his. They laughed together and played together every time they saw each other from then on out. And finally, for the first time in a long time, the clown felt like he belonged.
