Once upon a time, There was a mighty king named Edward who married seven queens. The king was a good administrator and a generous man, but he had no heir to the throne and this made him very sad.

After a long time one day, the youngest and most beautiful of the queens whose name was Emma, became pregnant. The king was overjoyed at this news and celebrated the birth of his first child with great fanfare.

The elder queens became more and more jealous as their husbands, the king, paid more attention to the younger queen and showered her with lots of expensive gifts.

When the final day arrived, the queen gave birth to not only one child but eight beautiful children: seven beautiful sons and one beautiful daughter.

The jealous queens, were unlikely to have any children of their own, so when they heard about the birth of eight children they secretly planned. During the night, before the king had a chance to meet his son and daughter, the queens stole each of the children and buried them in the garden, never to be seen again.

The jealous queens replaced each baby boy and girl with a puppy. Then they asked the king to come quickly to the queen's house. The first wife said 'Look your beloved queen has given birth to animals.'

Another said, 'It must be witchcraft'. 'You banish your little queen from our kingdom.'

Although the young queen pleaded her innocence to the king, she was banished from the kingdom and forced to live in exile, never knowing what happened to her beloved children.

Years passed, and in a warm spring, a very strange thing happened. Where the jealous queens buried their eight children, there grew seven plumeria flowers and one fragrant padri flower tree, beautiful and colorful and rich in fragrance.

As the jealous queens tried to pluck the beautiful flowers from the trees, the branches of the trees were falling out of their reach. When the king went there and tried to pick the flowers, the branches of the tree moved again so that the flowers remained on the tree.

Then a soft voice floated through the scented air. 'Bring the exiled queen to us and see if she can pick our flowers.'

The king ordered his most trusted guard to bring the exiled queen back to his palace.

Upon his return, the king asked the little queen to pluck flowers from the branches of the mysterious tree. When the little queen went to the first sycamore tree to pick a flower, a baby boy emerged from the flower and was reunited with his mother. The same thing happened to the second sycamore tree, and the third, and to all the sycamore trees and all the seven infant sons returned to their mothers. And when Queen Parul went to pick flowers from the tree, a beautiful baby girl appeared from among the flowers and embraced her mother.

The king was overjoyed to have his family back together and forgave him and asked him to return to the palace forever.

The king also came to know that he had eight children with the younger queen and that this evil plan was to separate him from the elder queen. He immediately sentenced each queen to life imprisonment and never spoke to them again.

Having imprisoned the wicked queens, the king lived happily ever after with the little queen and their eight beautiful children grew up healthy and well. The story quickly spreads across the kingdom and people realize that no good can come of violence or evil deeds.

Whoaaaa, they buried those babies alive just because they were jealous? That's crazy! So glad the truth came out in the end!
