WE ARE NOT ALONE AND NEVER HAVE BEEN
We are not alone and never have been Even if you cannot see it, it may be there Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Except, may be, the creature that is screaming, even then it is argued that in a vacuum there can be no transmission of sound waves from mouth to ears, that may be true for humans, but not all the inhabitants, of all the galaxies, are human. Space is vast, infinitely vast. It is so big that it is beyond human comprehension, but it is not empty. It is so close to being empty that it is OK to call it a vacuum. But strange forces live and operate in that near vacuum. Human scientists call this “dark matter and dark energy,” because they do not understand it, but then human science is very new and only just beginning to search for real understanding. The race of beings, the “Ocerons” were old before Gaia allowed humans to start their evolution. Compared to most species in the universe, the evolution from organic slime to science studying by humans, was very fast. This may be due to the short life spans of humans or it may be due to Gaia wishing to catch up with other living planets. The sentient planets communicate with each other, through the dark energy and Oceriton was a much older planet than Gaia and was always sending disparaging messages about how backward the puppet life forms raised by Gaia were, compared to her own. Gaia had always pretended she was not annoyed by this and had countered with boasts about the huge diversity of puppet life forms she had raised while Oceriton only had a single species to her credit.

Keeping on Schedule
Keeping on Schedule John glanced up at the clock on the wall for the hundredth time. He was a busy man and he could not abide someone or something being late. His train that he needed to catch was late again and he was at his limits of understanding. Irritated, he walked over to the ticket counter and spoke to the clerk behind the window. The clerk just sighed and told John that the train was held up due to some signal lights on the track being out due to a local power failure in the next county.

A sense of aligning nothing
"Sup?" "Sup?!" Echoing down the hallway and all the way up to the bleachers. Well here's the thing, I was sleeping. In my mind, I could see the hallway all the way to outside. The door that accessed the bleachers was swinging, open then close open then close. I took off running towards it not paying attention to anything else. Running that fast I thought I was going blind, I wasn't going blind, unlike that moment when that was happening, nothing to worry about. So, I gathered my sights an...

Galactic Corporate Space Rendezvous
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say, and this thought haunted the incredibly determined confident Artemis who knew there was something outside her work window. Fantasy imagination idea read ‘feeling an unidentified object lurking like a predator hunting for a kill preying in the darken depths’ while another scenario could present the result as ‘a befriending situation where a soothing petting motion between allies is featured in the science fiction mystery adventure.’ No matter which path the script went she was still confined to the small international community securely strapped inside a fabricated contraption built in a studio warehouse hanger before blasting away into nowhere land.

Birth of a Universe.
No one can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say… I can hear many, in fact, it seems like it is all I can hear nowadays. My name is Xenus and my universe is dying. The screams I hear are the voices of the inhabitants of the other worlds surrounding my world in the distance of the Galaxy. Their worlds are dying just like mines and as these planets collapse into oblivion the voices of the billions who live on these planets scream in agony amidst the demise of their home. Today is supposed to be the day my world ends, oh the thoughts that cloud my mind when I think about how I will surely die later on this day.
