The FrostWing Chronicles
Chapter 8- The FrostWing Empire Reborn Within the soul-chilling city of Northwind. Eyrokar looked around as he was unfamiliar with his Mother’s kingdom. The cold wind howled loudly, and the dark clouded skies thundered. Through a flash of lightning, several cloaked Draconian soldiers surrounded the Wolvar and their Draconian leader. Pointing spears of ice at them, one Draconian revealed herself, “I was beginning to wonder how long it would take you to get here. And I see you broke through to my foolish husband.” said the Draconian, looking at Drakon. “Loriana? Wait, you married the Overseer Lord, MY SON!?!” Eyrokar growled. “It wasn’t my choice, Twas Devarius’. “I’m sorry. Who are you? I can’t be married. I’m just a… child?” Drakon asked himself. “You are no more intelligent the day I lost you? Great.” Eyrokar growled. “I am so confused right now.” Drakon sighed.

Towards Safety
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. It was a truth that Blaze came to understand quickly. Even if it didn't mean literally screaming. There was no way that anyone back on their home planet, Tharsunder, would be able to hear them. As the crew that had boarded their ship had cut their communication link. Something that wouldn't be noticed until it was far too late to do anything about. They were only meant to take supplies to their new ally planet, Efferia, and stay to assist them. Mostly to help fix houses and other things that were destroyed thanks to a rather terrible sand storm on said planet. Stuff that Blaze had done with his fellow crewmates a few years back on different planets.

Life Is a Video Game On A Loop
Vinod woke up to a familiar but strange face staring at him. The Female in front of him reminded him of someone back home. He shook his head to clear the fogginess. He looked around - it was definitely not his room or his home. He seemed to be on some kind of a moving object made of metal with wheels that needed oiling badly and, surprise, surprise - was running on electricity. Maybe he was in the museum where they kept such locomotives. But then, none of them was in working condition as electricity was non-existent not only on his planet but their entire galaxy.

Pie Scream for Humanity
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. This seems to be a uniquely human thing. Humans are very strange mostly hairless mammals that inhabit planet 401-3. They aren't entirely awful. That said they are incredibly nearsighted, and entirely mind-null. Which is to say they are completely unaware of the quadrant Forum’s most announcements declaring that 401 is now a reserve system.

Collective Thought
Collective Thought by Hannah Cunningham Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Time in space moves differently than time in this earthly realm. Everything is somehow quicker, while also being much slower. So perhaps no one can hear themselves scream, but they will forever hear the echo of all screams that moved in a way leaving them unable to exist at the singular cross section of space and time considered in the initial phrase.

The Disturbance
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say… if only we could experiment… his brother’s voice dripping contempt even in the memory of his cruelty. Lander lay prostrate on his overly firm bunk, sleep eluding him as Callum’s voice drifted in and out of his strained mind like a moth drawn to a porch light in the dark. Saying things to get a rise out of Lander was always a game to Callum, and it was nights like these, where turning the volume down eluded him, that Lander wanted to scream… but would anyone hear me? He chuckled at the thought, bothered that his brother’s sick humor had finally landed.
