The Real Magic behind "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by W. Shakespeare
A group of young individuals clandestinely venture into the forest, where they consume substances that alter their state of mind. They then experience a change in their romantic relationships and encounter beings from an alternate dimension. "A Midsummer's Night's Dream" showcases Shakespeare's exploration of psychedelia, resulting in a delightful experience both on stage and in written form. Originally performed in the 1590s, this play stands out as one of Shakespeare's most playful works, brimming with deception, insanity, and enchantment. Unfolding over the course of a single night, "Midsummer" maintains a lively pace. The plot revolves around collisions and disintegrations, as characters from different realms are brought together and torn apart. Shakespeare employs these patterns to satirize the characters' self-absorption and challenge authority in a comical manner.

Lake Effect
Let me tell you a story. What I have to say is true. It happened just a few days ago. A mysterious cloud of dihydro-monoxide formed over the Atlantic Ocean not far from the coast of Florida. Carried by strong winds it moved North to colder climates. This caused the cloud to crystallize. The wind carried it westward over Lake Michigan, increasing its intensity. The now heavier cloud began to break apart. It dumped crystallized dihydro-monoxide on Chicago and its suburbs.

The Perfect Stick
Ellie pounced first. The puppy stand-off was rounding its third dramatic minute, and Ellie couldn’t take anymore suspense. Lunging low, Ellie was able to scoop the three foot tree branch from the snow, kicking up excess chunks of soft ice in Lucy’s face as she happily hopped in the opposite direction. Lucy instantly felt disrespected, so she acted on instinct and chased after Ellie until she was able to get her incisors securely latched onto the opposite end of the icey branch.

I Only Jingle When I Move
Dear mercy, girl. She does this at least once a week. She was just talking about this on the cell on the trip home, about how she really shouldn't be driving. We all knew that. But we all had to get home, and no one else could drive. Not that she would have asked us. Not that we have thumbs. Whatever.

We Were. Top Story - January 2024.
Two hours later, the space between the frantic crying of my human and the ringing of silence collide to taunt me. As I lie motionless in this crevice I barely even know myself anymore. One thing I am certain of is my memory is much more acute than that of my human, for I recall in vivid detail how I ended up here, while she on the other hand, has not one inclination of where I can be found. The wonder if ever to be found, has come up several times, but I have always been more of an optimist so I do not dwell long on this thought.

Loads of Love
One trip to the laundromat ultimately changed the trajectory of Nate’s life as he knew it. On a stormy November morning, Nate and his friends, Seth and Ben, went to the laundromat for a smoke session. They’d been to this laundromat to smoke regularly, so whenever they went, it was always at the same time–when they knew nobody would be there. After quietly entering the laundromat, they huddle in a corner and spark up a joint. They passed it around, laughing and murmuring when suddenly they heard a noise. They all look through the window to see a young woman approaching. Seth and Ben start to panic and run out of the laundromat, leaving Nate there alone with the weed. He was sweating and shaking as the young woman entered the laundromat. Her skin was spotless and smooth, she had long, dark hair and long eyelashes, and she was wearing sweatpants and an oversized hoodie.
