Halloween Rodeo
Warm days had fled and the crisp autumn temperatures brought colored leaves and chilly mornings. Carved pumpkins, scary decorations, and fall colors were put out adding a splash of life and fun to the brown yards around town. Teri and Rodrigo were excited for the upcoming Halloween festivities and had spent hours working on their costumes. Well, mostly Teri’s costume as it required the most work to bring together. Every weekend and some weekdays for the last month had been spent working hard on their costumes. They finished everything up the day before Halloween and were ecstatic about going to school to show off their hard work. Teri had turned her wheelchair into a raging rodeo bull complete with some stuffed pants and cowboy boots down each side to make it look like she was riding the bull. Rodrigo had dressed as a rodeo clown so they could be a matching pair. Halloween day they rode together to school, both chatting excitedly about their outfits and all the fun-filled activities their teacher and the school had planned for the day.

Nights of Dragons and Genies: Chapter 2
The continent of Orobia, in the center of the map of Skyeria, was a rather warm climate. Certainly warmer than the northeastern continent of Odiosera, what with the desert that made up a large part of the continent. However, there were still plenty of signs of green in the Orobian desert. It was thanks to the work of the five tribes of genies--humanoid spirits that called Orobia and its sister continent Escen their home: the masters of the skies known as the djinn, the rulers of the waters the marid, the sturdy and strong earth-molders called the dao, the masters of flame called the ifrit, and the natural hearted walkers of nature called the nasna.

Once the sunset she was doomed and if she didn’t leave pretty soon then she would become part of the bullpen.

In The Woods
Complete darkness fills everything as though someone has just turned off the light, there was sunshine everywhere just a moment ago, it poured trough the gaps between leaves of the trees painting the forest into warm shades of yellow and orange. Now it’s so dark that he can’t see anything except formless black shapes of oak trees less than a meter ahead, the rest of the forest, the field, the world and the day are consumed by eternal, endless night. He gets confused for a moment, then decides that he must have gotten lost, walked too far into the forest and now thick foliage won’t let through enough sunlight. This is not the best explanation, not the most plausible, but his mind needs to cling to some semblance of common sense and might as well cling to this.

Winter's Passage
Yukimi flew, and the train of her kimono, made of the lightest silk, billowed in her wake. The winter breeze tossed and played with it as the blades of her ancient, wobbly skates sliced through the ice. It mattered little that the straps bit into her skin when a single smooth stroke could send her to the far end of the pond.
