Day 5, Day 9
Once Grizwalt renamed his Cherry Popsicle to "Cold Rainy Crayon," I knew the hours of peace we had now hung in the balance. The amazing flavor of "CRC" caused The Bear King to raise it up to the stars and Moon as he hollered "Disis Alicius!" This act was done with such force "CRC's" body separated from his stick skeleton, his now hollow body plummeting to the ground below. Enraged by this ultimate flavor betrayal, as "CRC" hit the carpet (Grizwalt now wearing his brand new out of the package 3T-4T White Sox) raised his right foot and stomped "CRC's" remains into the carpet. Almost to show all other foods and non-foods alike, you don't run when The Bear King is eating you. The younger brother Deaodin, sensing/smelling or "using the force" appeared from his blanket den. He waddled to the scene of defiance, not to be out done by his older brother The Wolf King got down on all fours and with a savage giggle began sucking the now warming innards of "CRC" right form the carpet. I could not allow this. I arm myself with the largest frying pan lid as my shield, a roll of paper towels as my spear, I am the One Man Phalanx. Deaodin in such a feeding frenzy, my spear thrusts have no effect on him. From behind, Grizwalt brings forth his Primitive siege machine, The Kitchen Chair! The battle with Deaodin is vicious, at one point he managed to disarm me. Being outmaneuvered with Grizwalt to my flank, out manned, I had no choice but to fall back to my Kitchen Stronghold. Once inside the safety of my walls I could see The Wolf King still eating the remains of "CRC" and in one last act of Defiance by The Bear King set the stage for days to come. Standing atop his siege engine, he removed the very sock he stomped poor "CRC" with, raised it above his head then proceeded to suck every last drop of flavor out of his sock, throwing the now flavorless sock at eh gates of my keep, laughing in Triumph. The Day was Lost but The Kitchen Still STANDS!

The King's Son
The world blurred as cobalt eyes opened, the dim torch light outlining the room in hues of warmth that conflicted the dank scent of sea-aged wood. It flickered and danced over his vision as he let his eyes take in the aged oak and cedar. Where was he…? How had he gotten here? He had been at the harbor when…

Envoy and Aorlean
The Envoy tapped his fingers on the table, silent for a minute after the Aorlean had finished speaking. “So,” he said at last, “your planet has quite a history there. These fallen ‘Neldrihk’, immortal kings, magical gemstones… you know, if I hadn’t seen Ikron’s mines for myself I mightn’t be compelled to believe any of it, though…”

The journey
THUNDER Thunder and lightning fill the air. I can feel and taste the electricity. It's funny. I feel like I should be used to this by now so many places my search has taken me have been like this but for some reason I feel different. Perhaps it's the bluish green light coming from the two moons as I ponder this question but I see a flash in the corner of my eye. I barely see it before it disappears into the small circular hole in a tree. Now that's something new I think to myself as I approach the tree slowly. As I get closer a strange calm comes over me I feel at peace for some reason, a feeling I haven't felt in quite some time. I see a faint glow coming from the small hole in the tree. Slowly I lean my eye to the hole looking inside where it was staring right back at me. Inside was what I can only describe as the most beautiful fairy I've ever seen, well the only one I've ever seen. She was smiling back at me, a bluish green light emanating from her body. Her smile warmed everything inside me; she winked at me as she zipped by leaving me in complete awe. I smiled as she stopped and waved for me to follow. I did my best to keep up with the little beauty as she flew through a meadow of flowers, a trail of fireflies showing me the way she went. I followed the glowing bugs over the crest of a hill and saw her floating over a rock as tall as me, arms crossed looking at me. Expecting her to fly away I slowly approached her but she just smiled as I got closer. When I was close enough she drifted down taking my hand in both of hers and something came over me, something I hadn't felt in a long time I was actually happy. She led me through the meadow to a colorful swirling pool of water. She gently let my hand slip away as she hovered over the vortex. Smiling, she motioned for me to follow then flew into the vortex. I stepped forward slipping into the colorful swirling water I lost all feeling and thought for a moment time and space stood still. On the other side I was floating in the middle of a lake and looking around it was beautiful stars lit the night sky star light reflected off the dark water. I wondered where the little fairy was only for her to rise from the water no longer little. She still had her beautiful glow as beads of water ran from her hair down her beautiful flawless face. Her smile made her eyes melt and left me immobilized then I felt her hand on my cheek followed by the feel of her soft lips on mine. At that moment everything stopped and I wondered if I had finally found what i'm searching for.

Lightblessed
Energy disrupted the void, and with it came strife. This was the foundation of the eternal struggle between darkness and the light. One could classify it as evil versus good, or wrong against right, for those are certainly forms the conflict has taken. It hearkens back to something more simple and fundamental than that. All things fall to chaos and disorder, losing their power and strength, until chaos reclaims it all through entropy. Indeed, there was no scenario at all where energy could triumph over the void.
