The Road to Domon
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. They’ve come from the East where their lands are vast and their mountains are mighty. Since the beginning of time, they’ve thrived within their homes of towering trees and deep in their ocean depths. They’ve stayed hidden in the mountains overlooking Armenia and burrowed deep into the earth, unbothered, unshaken.

The Dragon's Curse
“There weren’t always dragons in the valley. Displaced, homeless, and feral. No. Once the race of dragons was grand, sophisticated, and glorious. Then, they lived atop the Mota mountains. There, they spent the nights so close to the stars that the great clockwork of the sky was etched into their very hearts. By gazing at those stars, the memories of all history were brought before them. Solemn and stoic, the dragon was, for the most part, disinterested by those other races of the word. The races of Unicorn, Men, and countless others that are now lost to history.”

The Dragoness' Flame (M/18+)
"For most people, turning eighteen is no big deal. But in my world, turning that crucial age is everything. It's a ritual that has been upheld since the Goddess, herself, created us. Dragons. Strong, powerful creatures that could take down an entire city within hours.

The Realm Finder
There weren't always dragons in the Valley. At least, in the way that I’ve seen it. To be frank, I’ve rarely visited the Valley myself when I first arrived in this world. I’ve heard stories ancient and new about the cavernous realm; Ones of daring knights traversing the depths to reclaim their honor, swashbuckling pirates and thieves set to claim treasures unknown, or just stubborn fools entering that canyon upon a bet with drunkards and friends alike. I’ve heard of it all just as I’ve heard little about those who survive the Valley of Ashes.

The Dragons Came Home
There weren't always dragons in the Valley. People feared them. The dragons were powerful beings. Elemental beasts. They were unpredictable. But of course, we chose to be on the opposing side. The side that had fierce determination to destroy everything left of the kingdom of dragons. We were once told that dragons protected us a long time ago... But not anymore. Everyone feared to speak up against the Hell Borns once they started turning us against the dragons. Ever since then, the dragons left us. Who could blame them? Why should we? We turned our backs on the only thing that kept us safe. Now it's just blind loyalty that's keeping us from losing our homes.

Brimstone County
There weren’t always dragons in the valley. The prospectors arrived from the east with only a promise that there was gold in those hills and lord did they find it. Those little yellow stones turned those vagabonds, vagrants and beggars into wealthy and well respected men. The natives, spiritual types, warned them of the coming storm, of the tempest men’s avarice would bring. Of course they didn’t listen, who needs superstition when you're filthy rich and lady luck is on your side. They awoke something unspeakable deep in those mines, abominations of a vengeful god in a vengeful form. Beasts of blackened flame with wings of starless skies, avatars of men's greed and covetous nature. To this day they remain the true governors of Brimstone County regardless of manifest destiny pushing the wide eyed ignorant to try to reclaim it.

Last Gods
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. Sure as hell felt like it though. Scorch marks blackened the once vibrant landscape. Ohin still remembered what it had been like before. Thriving towns. Lush fields and forestry. Bird calls and the aroma of flowers filling the clear air.

Humanity's Last Stand
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. That was one of the main reasons humans had chosen to settle there. It was a safe zone, hidden far away from the ongoing wars between the many different races and species that called the world home. Once word spread of a haven, free from the constant danger that seemed to permeate every other corner of the land, humans flocked there in droves. No longer focused entirely on simply surviving, the population of the Valley was able to advance their settlements far beyond anything else in the known world. Over the centuries, small villages became large cities with hundreds of thousands of people. Never before had that kind of population density existed, which may have been what drew the attention of the dragons.
