Band of the Raven
The cellar was dark with barrels of ale, and mead stacked to the ceiling. The stone floor sent shivers through Kiara’s body with every step. She took deep breaths in preparation, then found a chair she could sit on next to a pillar holding the building up. She leaned the chair against the beam and adjusted herself. Her eyes closed and her mind slowly faded back. All she could hear was the sound of footsteps above her and the dripping of water leaking from the walls. Focus. Don’t be afraid. Killian is nearby. He will keep everyone safe. She thought to herself as she released another long drawn out breathe. The dripping in her ears faded, and the footsteps above her vanished. Her eyes slowly opened and revealed an abyss of darkeness around her. Purple and black waves flowed gently passed as a wall stood in front of her. She stood and slowly approached it. Long steel bars were lined vertically as far as the eye could see to her left and right. Beyond the bars, the sound of chains rattling and shifting.

Band of the Raven
As the next day came and went, Darin and Brendiel readied themselves for their training while Kiara sat with Mira through the evening, giving small bursts of energy as she struggled to keep the barrier up. Brendiel walked up behind them as the sun hovered above the trees.

Band of the Raevn
History of Heroes As the sun peeked over the trees and the morning roosters crowed, Killian and Wolarian proceeded out of town in their hunter’s gear. Mira sat at a nearby bench and closed her eyes. A haze formed around the two as they walked and suddenly, they vanished.

Band of the Raven
“Get off your ass and get some food before the rain takes hold of the pot!” Thomas cried out towards a large figure huddled beneath a broken tree trunk. The hulking man grunted and moved slowly with his cape over his head. He stood nearly eight feet tall and was said to be built like stone. “Are you that worried about being wet?” Thomas continued shaking his head as he watched. “You have killed countless people without any care or thought in the world. Yet when the gods cry you cower like a puppy.” He looked down at his already made bowl and began shoveling the sloppy stew of potatoes and what leftover meat they had into his mouth. The broth dripped down his chin while he nodded in approval of his own concoction. “I must say,” He exclaimed with a smile growing on his face. “I think I have outdone myself this time Garal!” The big ogre-like man grabbed the large spoon and poured his share into a nearby bowl.

Chapter 1 ----------------------- “Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Why? No one can hear it because there is no air there. Therefore, one could argue it has no impact on space. However, what if this scream occurred in a place where air existed? It would definitely have an impact on living beings because they could hear it. You know, sometimes I wish the world was just like the vacuum of space, with sound not existing. But this is reality. Sound exists, and you hear things that you don’t want to, just like on that fateful day when war was declared on the whole world.”

There are no dreams
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Karo, named for the sweet clear bronze elixir to be poured over your biscuits, considers this thoughtfully for a fraction of a second, then shuts her mouth. She closes her eyes for a long moment. No one can see your dreams either, girl. No one can know your thoughts. No one can feel with your hands. No one can see with your eyes, or hear with your ears, or speak with your voice. This is your kingdom, any agreement with outside forces mythical, at best. Pull yourself together.

Alone in the abyss
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. This is what I had to keep telling myself. To make sure that I didn't go insane. I had a team. Now it's just me by myself out here. This isn't a sob story about how I lost them. It's a warning for anyone thinking about coming to space. Don't do it. Do anything you can to make sure you stay far away from here.

Celestial
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. That was my last thought as I plummeted through the dark depths of the universe to a fate unknown to me. I could feel myself burning up, the light years ripping through me with a speed and force that would destroy my physical form in seconds. My time had come; the end was near.

Enough Is Enough
"Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say." ~~~~~ These were the same "they" that swore, that it was our best interests they had in mind, when they aborted the rescue missions half-way through, leaving the human part of the crew behind to die. "They" said that would never happen again, either. "They" said a lot of things, in ways we needed to hear them- to get us to comply. Kim and Sam wanted to be the brother and sister duo that proved this kind of deadly and misleading propaganda wrong. They needed to put a stop to it, they felt they owed that to their family. These lies, used to sell a false sense of security, had to be exposed. But there was so much more they didn't know..... ~~~~~

Uthrenden
Chapter 1 The Trickster Lenar sat upon his mighty throne made from the swords and shields of his defeated foes which piled so high that they would rise higher than the tallest of towers. The fallen, Lenar’s companions, the great warriors of the lands of Telethaar fell silent as another god entered Lenar’s realm. Helthar dressed as a jester, a jingling bell atop his hat, floundered into the room. He was spinning a cane in one hand as he summersaulted on top of one of the tables and pierced a large apple biting into it to enjoy the juicy flavours within. The god looked ridiculous, Lenar thought, Helthar wore tight fitting clothing that showed his lack of muscle definition the patchwork of the jester patterned its way across him.
