The Grand Era: Beginning of the End
It was early morning, the birds were starting to wake up. We were crouching in the forest’s vegetation, and approaching the camp entrance, careful not to alert the goblins guarding the entrance. The border fences were crood but lined with stolen pots and pans, crossing them would raise alarm; we wanted to get in and out with as little combat as possible. What’s more, the stench of their waste heaps made my nose burn. I tried to spot Elander to my left, but he was nowhere in sight. What they say about the stealth abilities of wood elves is true. We had been in the same training group for the last 3 years, and this was our last mission before we were accepted into the order.

The Grand Era: Beginning of the End
In the beginning of this world there were two entities. Powerful deities whose central natures opposed the other. One, the Ordered Xalbus, the other, the Aberrant Drishca. One peace and harmony, the other chaos and destruction. The Xalbus sought to create more in this world and so he created the elementals: Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. He created them to help shape the barren existence into a veritable bounty of wonder.

Larethi History and Culture
Written by Brother Ronan at the Priory of the Three in Nimen Lareth is the beautiful island kingdom and homeland of the Larethi, or Elves as they are called by Men. There are other colonies of Elves throughout the world that derive from the Larethi, though they are far too remote, uninvolved and therefore speculative in nature to include them in this brief history. Lareth, in the native Elven tongue, means “where the sun sets,” therefore making the Larethi the “Sun Elves.” It lies in the west of the world plane in the pearlescent Opal Ocean which reflects the sun with a scattering of dust created from the abalone shells that refract the light into rainbows on its surface. Some sailors say that isles from a distance are nauseating from it's beauty and that it shines so bright that you can’t look directly at it. The most prominent site on the isles of Lareth is the capital city of Elven rule, Elsvid, which sits on the coast and presents you with grandeur ranging from its proudly standing towers and temples that seem to be built from the white cliff rocks that they perch upon. As you get closer and explore, the land and its people seem to leave you more and more amazed.

Lemon and Sugar
Nobody saw Hester when she sprang to her feet at the kitchen table. This on a Sunday in July when the boughs of the orchard hung heavy. Church had come and gone and she was ruminating on the reverend’s words, as ever concerned she would never understand them.

Greed
A small oceanic planet of a passing trade route. Caligann Point a large artificial island sat between the only two landmasses on the entire planet. It was a popular stop for travelers between the two continents. No spaceport but I popular stop for traders as it was the only land mass that could rise with the tide during the rainy season that lasted half the year. A never ending pour of water on the dark side of the planet. The super massive star and the speed of the planet made each year quite short.

Divine Architecture . Top Story - August 2022.
Randos is the known inhabitable world that Elves and Men reside within. It is surrounded by heaven and was laid out in such a way by the architect Elonwye. Here I will try to decipher his plan and explain the cosmology and geography of the divine plane of Randos. ‘Randos’ comes to us from the ancient language used by the spirits of elves and men, the language of the gods called Kermim or “God Speak”. The word in their tongue means “vastness,” or “plane”. It was designed as a flat plane so that the eye of Elonwye, our sun that we call Cyrius, can always watch whats happening on the surface. It’s believed that Randos is a reconfigured space fashioned out of the previous Nine Worlds that came before it, including the world that was inhabited solely by the races of men called Emblar. That world of the previous bygone age was not a flat plane but a round planet. A spherical world that could traversed by going sideways around it.

Life is Fast
The rhythmic motion of the train mirrored that of a canvas hammock swaying back and forth tied between two trees while on vacation in Fiji. The fresh air carried various scents from sharp Eucalyptus oils found within the well-manicured landscapes when visiting college friends in California, to the putrid odor of ocean mud flats when the tied was out but the clams were in. These smells wafted in and out of consciousness quickly entering the noise cavity and no sooner leaving to be replaced by another, but each carrying a distinct memory, or a place, time and person associated with the aroma.
