Those days you're stuck in traffic

When the tension builds and grows

Just let the steel drums take you

Where the sand is warm between your toes

On a tranquil sandy bay

on a lovely sunny day

under palms that swing and sway

stands the Seagull Cove Cafe

There's mangoes in the wine

And your friends get out of line

with the girls that dance so fine

when the music starts to play

And it never takes too long

till they play your favorite song

at the Seagull Cove Café

Then the sun begins to sink

And the barmaids start to drink

And your mind begins to think

This just might be your day

It’s where you love to go

When you need to take it slow

And feel the breezes blow

As they skim across the bay

And your boss’s rants and raves

Just get lost among the waves

And everything’s okay

All you do is close your eyes

and you'll see the bright blue skies

where everybody shares their fries

at the Seagull Cove Cafe
