Marvel and it's Cinematic Universe
Since the blip, I mean, the end of lockdown, I’ve been trying to make an asserted effort to be more social - see more movies, go out to dinner, go to pubs. It’s barely been working. Worryingly, I think my need to go out, despite being an introvert, has to do with this nagging suspicion that we might end up back in another lockdown and I’m going to regret not having left the house when I had the chance.

This World
Prologue Truly extraordinary things happen in the most ordinary of ways to the most ordinary of people. Through a sunny day or a child’s game, stepping through a wardrobe or being whisked away by a storm. So many great adventures started in such ways as to set them in an ordinary world. Such is my story. When I was younger I could walk on air. Not ordinary at all and I know that to most people who are reading this that statement sounds completely invalid and somewhat insane, but, there are a select few of you that are reading this and going “You too. Yea?” Then this story is for you. That is not to say, however, that if you have never experienced this walking on air phenomenon that you cannot enjoy this story. In fact, quite the contrary. I believe you will find this story just as intriguing, if not more so, as those who have experienced it. This is for those rare individuals who shared in that experience with me. I know that those who know first-hand what I am talking about will need no persuading to continue reading and that is why I say this is for them.

The Hero's Revenge Pt. 2
Fidan traveled into the land of the witches; a foolish mistake to be sure. Any man that dares enter their territory had a target put on their back. He paid no mind to this warning as he slowly rode his horse in the night. All he could hear was the sound of his horse's gallop and a *thud* following behind him.

Something Wrong (Part III)
“Mich, the 32nd Stratford Avenue is abandoned. No one’s in there. I saw that property in the classifieds last day- to be auctioned.” An abandoned building, a child and a lady-- none of it made any sense anymore. Michelle had to admit it might have been just another prank call, but yet, her intuitions could not receive it. She had to go and assure, no matter whatever in the world awaited her. “Richard, I have to go. What if there indeed is a child? I don’t want to live the rest of my life knowing that I could have saved someone if it wasn’t for,” Michelle halted herself halfway.

An American Refugee
She didn't want to leave. People don't choose to flee, or choose to be refugees. The choice isn't really a choice at all, it's a reaction to what has become an insoluble situation. Forced by nature, by governments, and by the acts of humanity itself, it is such a vicious cycle that never seems to stop repeating. She was not looking forward to the journey. It would be long and gas was so damn scarce and expensive, she might even end up walking. But there was no choice. The coastal cities had started flooding years ago, but she never thought it would be her family caught running from the chaos. Perhaps she did in the back of her mind and now that secret fear was reality.

Why You Should Watch 'Firefly'
Through the years, there has been no shortage of great science fiction shows for our viewing pleasures. Titans like Star Trek and Doctor Who dominate the genre. Even Star Wars has shifted its focus to the episodic television structure in recent years. With that in mind I would like to draw your attention to a franchise that has gathered some dust since its debut in the early 2000s, Firefly. The love child of Joss Whedon, this series was untimely canceled before it got the chance to really get its footing. Do not let that fool you though. The show has a loyal fan base to this day, myself included, and it is not hard to see why. So let’s take a trip into the Verse of Firefly, and hopefully by the end I will have convinced you to give it a try.
