----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s dark outside, almost pitch black, after all, it is around 3am. If it wasn’t for the stars, the moon and the street lights in the distance, one wouldn’t be able to see a thing. From a distance the ocean’s water reflects the light.

Cameron is his name. He is a young man, bleach blond hair, pale skin. He breathes heavily, hands on his chest, as he drags a heavy bag along the sand.

“You need any help there?” says the other boy, laughingly.

The pale skin boy sighs, annoyed.

“Come on! It’s not like I am going anywhere.” But he is ignored. “Gosh. You are no fun”

“Just go away.” Cameron says quietly to not call attention to himself.

“HA! That’s hilarious coming from you.”

Cameron continues to struggle as he drags the bag across the sand towards the ocean. He at times looks back, checking to make sure he is alone.

The other boy, Alex, takes a deep breath, acknowledging the scenery.

“Ah… I’m going to miss this place.” He says.

He looks at Cameron.

Cameron looks forward, even more determined than before to reach the water, yet tears start to form in his eyes.

For a second, it feels as if the world has paused.

“Hey… ummm… Cam. Can I ask you a question?” Alex presses play on the pause.

“What Alex? What?” Cameron responds, annoyed.

Alex stops walking, leaving Cameron to go forward on his own.

“Why did you do it?”

Cameron stops. Sweat coming down his forehead. He does not look back.

Alex continues.

“I mean, it’s not like it was your first time.”

Cameron ignores Alex and resumes to move forward towards the water.

If a passer-by was to look at the scene, he would see Cameron, alone, at a distance, along the shore, with his face turned away from him. He would see Cameron dragging a heavy body bag though the sand. He would also see the trail across the sand, maybe even wonder how far the boy has dragged the body.

But there was no passer-by. No one to write about the boy that commits sentimental homicides.

It’s dark outside, almost pitch black, after all, it is around 3am. If it wasn’t for the stars, the moon and the street lights in the distance, one wouldn’t be able to see a thing. From a distance we see the ocean’s water reflecting the light.

Camera starts at a close up of our protagonist (Cameron). He is a young man, bleach blond hair, and despite being dark out, pale skin. Cameron breaths heavily, hands on his chest, as he drags a heavy bag along the sand.

Cuts to bag being dragged.

Cut back to Cameron and as dialogue starts, camera cuts between both Cameron and Alex.

Alex looks at Cameron.

Cameron looks forward, even more determined than before to reach the water, yet tears start to form in his eyes.

Small pause.

Camera continues to follow Cameron.

ALEX

Hey… ummm… Cam. Can I ask you a question?

CAMERON *annoyed*

What Alex? What?

Alex stops walking, leaving Cameron to go forward.

ALEX

Why did you do it?
