Sensa "Hugh" Moore
An Obituary
Sensa "Hugh" Moore passed quietly in January, 2024, after a long battle with complications from COVID-19, with several other contributing factors cited. Born to Further and Annie Moore in Hey, MO, his parents have requested his birthdate be withheld, stating, "We prefer to think of him as ageless."
Sensa was best known for his public service work, in which he apparently helped people in all walks of life cope with day-to-day challenges. He is particularly well known in literary circles, with a reputation as someone whom a writer could call on for ideas at the drop of a hat (or hint, or kick, or cloth or preposition).
His loving wife, Syca Moore, told this journalist, "Sensa brought photosynthesis to my days. Everyone that knew him commented on how he seemed to brighten any situation."
Sensa is survived by his wife Syca, their twin daughters Ever and Never, daughter Sopho, sons Balti, Hacka and Clay, and granddaughters, Lessis, Sum and Gimmee.
Due to the overwhelming number of souls Sensa's life touched, the family has respectfully requested that the time and location of his interment be left unpuplished. In lieu of gifts of flowers, etc. subscriptions, comments and tips can be left in the care of this journalist. Personal stories of interaction with Hugh can be shared on Vocal in remembrance.

WOW! Very amazing work!!
Bloody brilliant! I laughed all the way through this! So good!
hahaha! Needed this laugh today! Dana, you are hilarious! This was too good—so clever! I love your humor pieces! Keep em' coming!
Obits & funnies pages combined, touching on both & everything in between.
Hahahahaahhahahhahaha Syca Moore killed me! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Gosh you're so brilliant! Loved your Sensa Hugh Moore! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Holy crap, Dana, this is GOLD! I adore your commitment to the bit here. All those puns...I need to send this to my dad, he would die! (Especially at "Balti" as that's where he's from.) Lessis was by far my favorite grandchild, btw. You must have dug a bit to find Hacka and Clay, though. They were clearly out of the public awareness! This paragraph, though. Underrated. And brilliant: "Sensa was best known for his public service work, in which he apparently helped people in all walks of life cope with day-to-day challenges. He is particularly well known in literary circles, with a reputation as someone whom a writer could call on for ideas at the drop of a hat (or hint, or kick, or cloth or preposition)." Bravo!
Absolutely delightful and "moorealy" responsible. loved it
Very funny Dana! I had to double and triple check to make sure no one had actually died lol
I love your Sensa "Hugh" Moore, Dana! I nearly spit my coffee out laughing when I got down to the kids' and grandkids' names. Great stuff!

You had me going at the beginning there! 🤣
The family has some unique names lol! Well done Dana!
