Sparkletoots
(spar-kul-tūts) Noun: An (often) audible, visual and aromatic symptom of acute Christmas Spirit Syndrome
A/N: I realize the Neolomicro Challenge closed yesterday. I managed to get one entry in and I hadn't intended to do another one, so that's ok. The fact is, while accompanying my wife to Hobby Lobby today, it occurred to me how her Christmas Spirit shines in the custom stockings she's constantly knitting this time of year. My mind being what is, something came to mind, and well, I'll just leave this right here.

Pam had been very careful in selecting the perfect yarn colors and bling for the next set of Christmas stockings she needed to knit. Her customers paid premium prices for her work and she took pride in delivering the little extras that made them smile.
Leading her husband to the cash register line, she took in the racks hung with vast assortments of decorations and assorted trinkets of the season. She could spend hours in the craft store and her husband would patiently follow along, cheerfully discussing her selections and casually browsing art supplies. The day wasn't getting any younger, though and the season waits for no one, so this little elf was ready to check out.
Transferring her items from the cart to the counter, she bent far over the edge to retrieve the last little bag of tiny ornaments that would embellish one of the stockings.
Seemingly from nowhere, a tiny trumpet sounded. The air was suddenly filled with the aromas of warm gingerbread and peppermint. At the same time, a cloud of tiny sparkles shimmered.
Pam suppressed a giggle and exclaimed, "Oops! Excuse me!"
Standing behind his wife, dusted with fine red and green glitter, Pam's husband turned to the wide-eyed cashier and shrugged. "Yeah, it happens every year about this time."
