Resistance the past

It was a dark dawn when she arrived at the airport. The city seemed like a town. Small and silent. There was nothing to see because of the dark and maybe there are no more than the usual things around her in the past, in her old town. Yes, it is a town also, where there are no modern life attractions.

She had expected someone from the school to receive her at the airport, or at least her friend Mariam who had arranged all the duties, that is why she was here in the Gulf to work as a teacher in a primary school, but no one was waiting for her.

After she was waiting for one hour and more looking at people taking their bags and leaving the building, she said to herself I must go from here.

First, she asked the security man near the front door about the way, and how she could reach her destination, but there was no answer from him, he was one of the kind of people who had no interest in helping others.

when she stared at him for not a long time, it became clear to her that the man was from her nationality, Sudanese. That means he knew her and maybe or must be, so he has no will to assist.

She concluded the result, dismissed him, and went directly to a female, an attractive Asian girl in her twenties, wearing an eyeglass and having a long neck that made her look too tall but it didn’t.

While Sara was thinking about how to explain to the girl what she wanted to know, her eyes went through the details of the Asian face that was not familiar but full of happiness, gives meaning to something you cannot talk about in words, only your heart has the power to say what it wants.

Despite her resistance to hide the inner voice of the heart, to cover what is described as a shame in her society, to love a female like her, Sara had started to go more and more in following everything in that Asian body, a one that she had to like and think of it for a long time.

It had taken her to one night in her home when she was alone watching a film on her Mobile using the proxy to access the forbidden websites. There was a girl who was working in a café who looked in her face as the Asian girl of the café too, but not in the airport, the past one was in a mall.

Using her poor English Sara tried to ask the girl to help her, she was not able to explain herself well, but the Asian café girl understood her and was able to give her a full answer on how she could reach the area that was shown in a small paper.

Sara had the address written and some data that could help her in a new place as a person who never had travelled outside his homeland before.

She tried to forget the erotic side of the girl by pushing herself to act in what she had to do.

After not a long time, which was not counted she was in the main street near the old building of the airport that had been demolished and a new one replaced it but not in the same place.

Here, money is everything and when you gain it you find the ability to achieve your goals whatever your talent.

When she begins to make a dialogue like that with herself, she starts to rethink everything around her to know that life is not as easy as we think in our childhood, it is more difficult than our expectations and it pushes everyone to one fate which had designed to him in the early time of the creation.

As one who believes in God and the traditional theories of life, she can accept all that normalcy world in which most people are going, sometimes she has to do the opposite in running away to find a new world that does not exist.

On her way to the teachers- females’ house, the taxi man asked her a lot of questions but she had no desire to answer him.

He was more curious than usual. It may be all the taxi drivers like that, they are always trying to ask and talk an at last nothing is important, and this is not true generally.

In this time the taxi man who was one of Arab’s citizens had more to say about the city, because Sara began to know the fact she is not in a town and the other point is about the little experiences in a fresh place to her.

“You have to be careful, my daughter”

He said and continued:

“For a single female, like you it is not easy to live here, it is not about money, I mean you should take care”

She understood his message, the same that could hear everywhere in her homeland and all the Arab countries. Ladies and girls should be careful and to avoid males who are the same. For them every female is a ready for hunting.
