From the beginning we deeply cared for each other! The connection of trust & hope was very deep! It was like nothing in this world! He saw my vision and a good work ethic inside of me which made me beautiful to him! Don’t get me wrong, a stay at home wife or mom is also beautiful and they have unique domestic skills. There’s beauty in everything if we look hard enough.

Our story continued to develop like Kodak films. Entrepreneurship set us apart as individuals doing our own things! It also brought us together because we love what we do! Sharing is caring! And at different times we shared visions, plans, & love notes! “It is not good for the man to be alone, I will make a helper suitable for him” Genesis 2:18

Opening our heart & eyes even more! I just wonder what else is in store? If you’re going to kiss me then can I get a little more… kisses. Oh no! Wait! I’m gong to fast. I’m going to slow down so I can learn what it feels like to be loved. I mean I want to learn each other and the way we function in this world. What planet am I on? Definitely not this one! I’m on a spiritual ride and sometimes a spiritual high without any physical drugs. That’s because God is on my side! All my faith is in him and I love God!

I known you for one year now and I feel like we belong. It’s nice to have someone that understands me and likes hanging out with me. WOW! It’s such a pleasure! We are blossoming together! Moving forward to our wedding day as I daydreamed about it wildly! Our next steps after the proposal was to plan the wedding, an excited adventure! I was thinking Safari theme but wasn’t sure how to pull it off! (nervous laugh). I probably should go over my ideas with a wedding planner or a wedding coordinator, i think both are the titles of the ones who help design weddings. Thats what my aunt mentioned to me not so long ago and even set up an appointment for me! God Bless her as she continues to help me!

(On a zoom call): Hi Sura, glad you can make it to the meeting! I’m Rose Valentine your wedding coordinator! I was talking to your aunt Golda, who said you were getting married and wanted some help! Well I’m honored to be of service for your wedding (big smile)! Oh yes Rose (deep breath and big smile), its my idea to have a Safari Themed Wedding! We might have live animals walking around (Roses’s eyebrows raised lol), animal prints, horseback rides, and maybe even cowboy hats for everyone! “Sounds like you want a big adventurous wedding”. Yes, and i want my guest to experience a wedding like no other! It should be elegant- “but with live animals” Rose interrupted. Yes, Sura said uncertainly. I’ll see what i can do said Rose. I will make a few phone calls and get back to you with some ideas in a few days (big smile)!Awesome, I can’t wait! said Suri.

It’s been two days since i heard from Rose. I hope everything is alright and hopefully she doesn’t think I’m a maniac or out of touch! Ring! Ring! … Ring! Ring! Sura answers the phone and it’s her fiancé, Gabor. Hey baby! What you wearing? “Lol! oh Gabor I missed you so much! I’ll be there in a few hours, I’m boarding the train now! Ok! I can’t wait to see you Sura said happily)! Ciao! They say in unison as they end their calls with each other. Sura had a vanilla scented flower petal bubble bath. Her favorite aroma and favorite sweet smelling flowers. She was ready for the night so she slept until 8am.

After i woke i wondered where was Gabor? Did his train arrive safely?, Did he get lost?, Did he runaway?None of thee above since all of sudden the vivacious scent of honey & vanilla filled my noise, I knew exactly where to look! Ahhh! i see the toes of his left foot hanging out from the bundles of pillows and blankets he has been hiding under as he sleeps lol. I see my man is sleeping peaceful so of course i will tickle his feet (giiggles). He wakes up laughing and begging me to stop so i do and we look at each other smiling with our eyes! That was a peaceful moment I wasn’t going to ruin it so I let it last as long as possible.

I just casually laid on top of him to feel his skin caressing mine. The pats on the back and back massages or so soothing. We slept until noon. Once awaken, we washed up, brushed our teeth, tasted some salt to get the toothpaste taste out of our mouths, and then it was on to our favorite dilvulges, strawberry parfaits on top of a peach cobbler, sprinkled with graham cracker crumbs. I will never forget a dash of cool whip on the side. The complete breakfast-dessert dish is a taste of heaven! I’ve never been there but hope to spend eternity there (Big smile)!

We rode approximately 23 miles in Gabor’s Jeep Wrangler to the beach. He loves to drive on the sand and I love the thrill of it!

We spent four hours baking in the sun and appreciating it! May the golden sun continue to shine on us! Back at the house it’s 7:34pm. We are giggly and massaging each other. Gabor is sitting on the couch rubbing my back and i’m rubbing his legs while sitting on the floor, and we both are facing the tv.

Ring tone plays! I pick up and was so excited it was Rose my wedding coordinator! She asked how was i doing and I told her I was feeling fun! Whooooooooo! Rose preceded to tell me that she found some golden zebra stripe candle holders, zebra stripe tablecloths, zebra stripe table settings, & zebra stripe seat covers! I thought all of that that was awesome! Gabor heard the conversation because I had it on speaker which is fine. Gabor suggested we have an arch with white roses and plush animals. To give the room a safari feel. OOU, I Love that idea. “Taken notes” said Rose. We wondered what else we can do (big smile while looking down).

It’s the next day and Gabor is off to work and I’m zooming calling clients. Loving working from home! It’s 11:44am and my phone rings to the tune of “Rhythm is a Dancer” by Snap! So it’s time to dance! When I did pick up, it was Rose my wedding coordinator & I love hearing from her! She spoke to me about the venue having an upstairs and a downstairs. It had spacious private rooms for dressing, a big ceremonial room, and upstairs had a big ball room for the reception. It’s perfect for me, the wedding party, & the guest. Both the wedding ceremony and the reception can be enjoyed at the same place. No one has to worry about trying to get to the reception or missing dinner. Rose also texted me a pic of the cathedral ceilings that looked like water waves and I also saw the chandeliers. Oh My Gosh! Everything looked amazing!

I’m headed to the bridal shop to try on dresses & my aunt Golda is with me. I picked her up at 7:30ish pm & we’re headed to my 8:15pm bridal appointment. Upon arrival we are greeted by the receptionist & everyone who works here has smiled at us as they passed. My bridal consultant walks up and shakes our hands then escorts us to the room to try on dresses, YAY! My first dress was satin 3/4 sleeves & was lace from the waist up. The bottom half flared out in an A-line shape. It was gorgeous! The second dress was all lace and fitted with 3/4 sleeves. Only the very bottom flared out like a fish tale. It was so pretty! The third dress was a satin ball gown with a deep v-neck. It didn’t have sleeves and the skirt was full & elegant! They had such great selection of wedding gowns, I was so enthused!

I made my purchase & couldn’t wait to let Gabor know but I took Golda back home first. When I arrived home Gabor was eating supper so i quietly tiptoed up on him & he said oh! There’s my sweetie pie! Followed up with Man! you look great! As he glued his eyes to mine. We were both just glowing as we glared at each other! I said “thanks honey!”. I can’t wait for our big day next week! I told him as i kissed him on his masculine but kind face!

Wow! Working with Gold has been an absolute blessing! She planned this wedding like a pro! Always reassured me of the progress and what the next steps were. It really put me at ease and less stress. I was able to enjoy my time with Gabor as we went thru this process. The wedding was planned in 8 weeks and I couldn’t be happier! Golda was there every step of the way! Thank God! Tonight is our rehearsal dinner!!! We will rehearse at the venue and then had to Divinity Restaurant for dinner! The wedding party will be able to chow down on some soul food.

At the rehearsal everyone look great and had high energy which I loved to see. They did very well following Golda’s instructions and was pleasant to her! I’m sure they will have this same energy for the wedding and i’m going to be dramatically happy!!! YAY!!! The food was delicious The menu consists of chicken (friend or baked), lambs, rice, spaghetti, mac & cheese, fish, potato salad, yams, a variety of sandwiches, & a variety of salads. Can’t forget dessert which consists of cakes, pies, & puddings.

The dinner was very romantically setup with candles & centerpieces lining the tables! It was great for the wedding party to see because it shared the light of love that Gabor and I have for each other! At the dinner we allowed our guests to toast to us because I know i can’t let this many people speak at the actual ceremony or the reception, then we would never get out on time! So this is their moment to shine and hopefully remember me and Gabor in their comments lol. Beautiful night!

We know our wedding is in a few days & we don’t want to stress over it so we opened our lounging beach chairs and chilling in the living room. Man! There’s nothing like imagination. On our flat screen TV is a screen saver of the beach as we have r&b (love songs) playing in the background. We enjoy each other’s company & we’re a good team! We met when he was an office in the Air Force and I was a nurse on the base. One day we struck a conversation in the cafeteria and he paid for my bagel & tea that morning. I couldn’t believe it! Then he introduced himself and said he seen me around and hoped I enjoyed my breakfast! He touched my heart and I never felt like that about anyone before.

“Waking up”, it’s my wedding day (big smiles)! My alarm played “Lets Get Married” by Jagged Edge (clap, clap)! It’s 7:30am and my makeup/hair artist is right on schedule. I let her in into my hotel suite so we can get started, YAY! The wedding party starts arriving with my mom & grandma. It’s 8:08am and my hair & makeup is done! I choose the second out of three dresses i tried on. I feel beautiful and sophisticated in it! My mom is gushing & bellowing as she watches me check out my look in the mirror! It’s music to my ears!

It’s 1pm and my wedding party is ready & I’m definitely ready. I make sure my mom & grandma are walking close to me as we enter the stretch suv limooooooooooo! Golda really did her thang getting this ride donated to us because the limo company wanted to honor Gabor’s service in the military. Everyone is in the limo sightseeing & talking about good times. We had loads of bagels in different varieties, with cream cheese in the hotel suite so no one is hungry at the moment. I’m so excited about the wedding, I forgot to explain the suite. It was beautiful. It had a large main room with kitchen, bathroom, & couches. Plus, it had five smaller rooms with beds, chairs, & bathrooms.

1:50 pm The guests have arrived and are seated. Of course chattering among themselves. Not sure when the first guest arrived but thanks to Golda, all the guests now have live music to listen to. Golda hired a band with live string instruments to play for now & the march down the aisle. Each minute i get more & more excited to get in there! IOh! I can’t wait to see Gabor and see his reaction to my wedding look!

2:15 pm my nerves are happy as I’m informed the bridal party is dancing down the aisle! I know Gabor is waiting for me at the altar! YAY! The band played softly! So it was finally my time to start moving towards the altar. At first I took a baby step and paused to take a deep breath! I started to feel alive and breathe then as I was walking down the aisle I met many happy faces and well dressed friends & relatives! That made me happier and energetic! Myself and Gabor are sideways to the officiant but facing each other and Gabor takes my hand says “Your Beautiful” and kisses my hand. The crowd gushes! That was an amazing moment! The time came for us to say our vows and it happened flawlessly! “I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss your queen and king” says the officiant! So we did and then it was off to the hummer limo mechanically blowing bubbles!

We made a quick stop at a local Zaxby’s drive thru and once we got our food we pulled into a parking space and made a toast to our love! We actually poured our minute maid juices into separate wine glasses to make the toast because we are not drinkers. Another amazing moment right before our Zaxby’s dinner. We made out in the back with slow kisses and tongue kisses. It was so passionate this time around as we couldn’t believe that we were married and that our day went so well for us!

Big and special thanks to Rose our wedding coordinator for making all our wishes happen! She was patient but effective! Really hard everything I hoped for and saw my day as important as her big day! It was a joy to have Rose as my wedding coordinator, I could not have had the cake i wanted or the decor with her. I sincerely thank God for her help every day!

We enjoyed the ride to the next location in which we took pictures in a nearby park! We really love each other and our souls are the glue that keeps us perfectly caring for each other! Our mission is to stay in love and if there is any problems or situations, talk gently to each other about it! One of us might have to compromise but usually we make a very good team by supporting each other and staying loyal to each other! He won’t find my heart in anyone else and his heart won’t be found in another man! Can’t wait to see our wedding pics and look forward to our honeymoon!
