Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there lived a fierce dragon named Dragos. Dragos was the most powerful and feared creature in the kingdom, and all the people trembled at the mere mention of his name.

Despite his fearsome reputation, Dragos was not a cruel dragon. He lived high in the mountains, deep in a cave filled with treasure and precious jewels. He rarely left his cave, and when he did, it was only to hunt for food. But, despite his fearsome reputation, Dragos was not a cruel dragon. He spent most of his days in his cave, high in the mountains, where he hoarded a vast treasure trove of precious jewels. He rarely ventured outside his cave, only to hunt for food.

One day, a brave knight named Sir Thomas decided to embark on a quest to defeat Dragos and claim his treasure for himself. He traveled for many days, facing numerous dangers along the way, until he finally reached the dragon's cave.

Sir Thomas entered the cave, sword in hand, ready for battle. But as he approached Dragos, he saw that the dragon was not fierce at all. In fact, he looked quite sad and lonely.

"Why do you look so sad, Dragos?" asked Sir Thomas.

"I am sad because I am the last of my kind. All the other dragons have been hunted to extinction," replied Dragos. "I am alone and have no one to talk to or to share my treasure with."

Sir Thomas felt sorry for the dragon, and he realized that he had been wrong to want to kill him.

"I am the last of my kind," Dragos replied. "All the other dragons have been hunted to extinction and I am alone, with no one to talk to or share my treasure with."

Sir Thomas felt sorry for the dragon, and he realized that his quest to kill Dragos was unjustified.

"Dragos, I will not harm you," Sir Thomas declared. "I will be your friend and we will share your treasure together."

And thus, Sir Thomas and Dragos became the best of friends. They spent their days talking and laughing, and at night, Sir Thomas would tell Dragos stories of his adventures. In return, Dragos would allow Sir Thomas to pick from his treasure trove. Sir Thomas no longer felt the desire to leave the cave as he had found a home, a friend, and a purpose in protecting Dragos from those who would seek to harm him.

The people of the kingdom eventually heard of the friendship between the dragon and the knight, and they no longer trembled when they heard Dragos' name, for they knew he was protected and loved. Dragos, the last dragon, no longer felt alone and the kingdom had peace.

The end.
