It was just like another story, another day in time where we could relive and rebuild. Why it happened we don't know? When it happened we don't know, but what we do was that he was thirsty.

"They can't do this to me?" He cried in pain.

Brad was a forest squirrel dropped in the middle of the desert. No oasis this round. He was hot and thirsty. Dark brown fur was not the thing to wear. The sun beating him into the sand as he worried around. He eyed the prickly cactus while he crawled away from the beating they gave.

"Its, haw, too!" He whispered.

The buzzards started to circle him from above as they licked their becks. His belly still sore from the pounding they gave. Never mess with the armadillos. the pack was too strong and the spirit didn't help. The lived years from the city now fighting to get through it. They lived in a cave under the desert sand they used.

"Time to think, strategy." A bird flying above smiled at him.

He was an old scavenger buzzard. Food was his only priority that he had in mind. To make it to slightly older age and live his dream. Almonzo was just getting over the day and was hungry for the roadside. It couldn't end with that he thought the idea of a missed meal. He started to fly down to the sight on the side of the road.

"The danger was ... " He went on in his mind.

"NO, NO,NO ..." Brad said hollering out loud.

"We have almost made it to dinner." Almonzo said excited.

Brad stepped to the side he hadn't seen danger and his life like this for awhile. Almonzo went crashing almost into a cactus. The danger was realized on both sides and in the desert sky. The time was almost over there.

"NO, no, no." Almonzo hollered out. "It doesn't work like this you have to get ate. This isn't our way. Just stop and listen to me. You are the prey and I am the."

"Hold up, once again you can't do this to me." Brad told him.

"Why, not?" Almonzo asked oldly.

" Jayla." Brad said.

"Who?" Almonzo asked.

"The love of my life, my existence and destiny."

"Okay?"

"She has been taken by the armadillos to show control! Help me save her before."

"Before?"

"I don't know, I don't wanna know."

"I'm old, but i'm in food."

"She is strong, but not alone okay."

Time had passed while Almonzo and Brad got closer and as well closer to the Armadillos to rescue her. Their plan was to get in and out quickly. Little to no Causality, It was a dangerous journey ahead, but one worth living. The new pair had came through the desert on accident with each other. Time had passed while they grew stronger in each others life and path.

"Can you hear that? he said.

The music was drowning out the people above as they planned. He went through the night they both did. She was trapped by the mill outside he had climbed through the armadillos nest their kingdom. Almonzo battled the guards by air and ate. They were living him and her, but Almonzo was different in the wake of the next day. He had grown sickly and old the Armadillos had finished him with their poison. They both were off and ready for their next adventure after the sadness. They were together, again. That was all that mattered to them. The End. The morning sunrise was now theirs forever and could be seen forever!
