Did you know that half of all home-baked cookies are chocolate chip cookies? You’ve ever baked chocolate chip cookies and you might not have thought they’d always been around. But actually only about 80 years old, the story of his invention is steeped in mythology. We know who invented them. It was Ruth Wakefield, Massachusetts. She ran the very popular Toll House restaurant in Edmonton, Massachusetts with her husband Kenneth from 1930 to 1967.

We also know when he invented the cookie when the rest actually tried and made their first appearance. True Cookbook Now Beyond That Some Very Interesting Creation Myths Perhaps the most common is that Ruth was trying not to make it the wafer cookie that the inn served with ice cream at night. She went crazy one day, so she decided instead to bite into a bar of semi-sweet chocolate and mix it into the muck she had seen according to legend.

So the chocolate would melt and it would form a chocolate cookie, but they didn’t make the little pie. The chocolate icing kept its shape and voila the chocolate chip cookie was born, sometimes there is a variation that says it’s chocolate from the start. Was trying to make cookies she didn’t have time.

How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

I am sharing with you how to make the ultimate chocolate chips cookies. Crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy in the middle, and filled with chunks of dark chocolate. You won’t have any other cookie recipes after trying these. Welcome to Recipes, where I share with you how to make classic and simply delicious recipes.

The first thing you need is

1/3 cup

1/2 cup melted butter (cool to room temperature)

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 Egg

1/3 cup all purpose flour

1 cup chocolate chunks/chip

1 cup walnuts

Now let’s start The first thing you need is 1 and 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup melted butter cooled to room temperature 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 a cup brown sugar. On the left we have 1/2 teaspoon salt, half teaspoon baking soda, on the right we have 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. We will only need one egg for this recipe. Today I’m using milk chocolate chunks for the mix-ins. But feel free to use chocolate chips and add some walnuts.

But if you’re allergic to nuts or don’t like the nuts in your cookies, you can skip these. So we’re going to start with our wet mixture in a large bowl. Pour in your melted butter, followed by your white sugar, your brown sugar, vanilla extract, and finally, one of your eggs. Now give these ingredients a nice mix until they’re all incorporated. Your mixture will become after this ribbon light consistency and that’s for hum mixing.

We can go ahead and put it aside. Now move on to our dry ingredients and take your flour and mix in your salt and baking soda. Now we will slowly pour our dry ingredients into our butter mixture, stirring until all the ingredients are incorporated and you can no longer see the dough in the bowl until your cookie dough is formed.

It’s time to add to your mi-ins. You’ll notice that it can take a little exercise to incorporate all of your mix-ins into your cookie dough. But trust me just keep working at it. So now we’re scooping our cookie dough balls onto our baking trays and I’m using my big ice cream scooper here because – go big or go home right? I’m placing cookie dough balls about two inches apart from each other and on a baking tray, I can bake about six at a time.

There will be about 12 large cookies in this recipe. Okay, can we just admire how amazing chocolate looks? For a minute? Oh my goodness. Cool for 20 minutes, bake at 350 F for 15 minutes.

Once the cookies are baked, place them on a cooling rack for 10 to 15 minutes and enjoy. Just look how soft and chewy these cookies are on the inside. I swear this is the only chocolate recipe you need. They turn out perfect every time.
