If you had a blast during the four-day Eid al-Fitr weekend, then get ready for an even longer celebration for the next big Eid Al Adha UAE holidays 2023.

Now’s the time to finally push through with that long-planned vacation that has been postponed for far too long as a six-day break is likely on the way for the Eid al Adha celebration.

The UAE has announced the Eid al Adha holiday 2023 to fall on Dhul Hijjah 10–12 in the Islamic calendar, which depending on the Moon sighting will most likely correspond to Wednesday, 28 June, to Friday, 30 June.

Arafat Day, meanwhile, is set to take place on Tuesday, 27 June. This special day marks the second day of the week-long Hajj pilgrimage and also precedes Eid al Adha.

This means four consecutive UAE holidays from 27–30 June 2023. Considering that 1 and 2 July fall on a weekend, there is a possibility of a six-day break, which is just perfect for that much-needed getaway or staycation.

That’s not all! There are three more long weekends in the offing.

The Hijri New Year is a significant occasion in the UAE, and it offers another opportunity for a well-deserved break. Falling on Friday, 21 July, it creates a three-day weekend for residents and citizens to enjoy.

Following that, the next long weekend to look forward to is the Commemoration Day and UAE National Day, celebrated on 1 and 2 December respectively. These two holidays honor the sacrifices made by the nation's martyrs and celebrate the unity and achievements of the United Arab Emirates.

Commemoration Day, previously known as Martyrs' Day, pays tribute to the Emirati soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. This solemn day is a reminder of the bravery and dedication of the UAE Armed Forces.

UAE National Day, on the other hand, is a joyous occasion that commemorates the union of the seven emirates and the formation of the modern UAE on 2 December 1971. It is a time of national pride and patriotism, with various events and activities taking place throughout the country.

With both holidays falling consecutively on 1 and 2 December, it results in a four-day weekend, allowing residents and citizens to plan exciting outings, explore the country's rich heritage, or simply relax and enjoy quality time with family and friends.

These long weekends provide ample opportunities to unwind, recharge, and create lasting memories. Whether you prefer to venture outside the UAE for an international getaway or indulge in a staycation within the country, there are numerous options available to suit every preference and budget.

From sandy beaches and luxurious resorts to cultural landmarks and thrilling outdoor adventures, the UAE offers a diverse range of experiences for everyone. You could immerse yourself in the bustling city life of Dubai or Abu Dhabi, visit the tranquil oases of Al Ain, explore the stunning landscapes of Ras Al Khaimah, or embark on a desert safari in the golden dunes of Sharjah.

Furthermore, the UAE is renowned for its world-class shopping malls, where you can find an array of high-end brands and indulge in retail therapy. Alternatively, you can savor the local cuisine at traditional Emirati restaurants or sample international flavors at the countless dining establishments scattered across the country.

For those seeking an adrenaline rush, there are various adventure activities to partake in, such as skydiving, dune bashing, water sports, and even indoor skiing. Nature enthusiasts can explore the diverse ecosystems of the UAE, from the rugged mountains of Hatta to the marine life of Fujairah's pristine beaches.

Moreover, during these festive seasons, the UAE often hosts special events, exhibitions, and cultural festivals, providing a glimpse into the rich heritage and traditions of the region. From traditional music and dance performances to fireworks displays and light shows, there is no shortage of entertainment options for all ages.

To make the most of these long weekends, it is advisable to plan and book in advance, as popular destinations and accommodations tend to fill up quickly during holiday periods. Whether you choose to embark on a grand adventure or opt for a peaceful retreat, the upcoming UAE holidays of 2023 offer plenty of opportunities to create cherished memories and enjoy quality time with loved ones.
