Working full time and coming home to cook is not easy! Most of the time you ask yourself or your family what can we have for dinner? The answer to the question is simple, cook an easy recipe! But what easy recipes do I know how to cook? In this article, I will give several recipes that one can cook easily, and is not time-consuming! I have been cooking for a long time and I like to cook the easy way! You can cook the easy way too! Last Christmas my daughter introduced me to the Instant Pot. Cooking with the Instant Pot is easy and you will find the food delicious! Another way is baking dinner, in the oven. My mom taught me to cook at a young age, and I am glad she did teach me. So let's get started with the first recipe!

The Instant Pot has a lot of different uses for example you can Saute with it, use the Slow Cooking, Pressure cooking, you can even bake a cake in it! If you do not have one, you should consider buying one. It can save you time and the food will taste great! I use this way of cooking often! I love cooking with the Instant Pot because it is easy and I do not have to slave on the stove, and there is only one pot to clean! The Instant Pot recipe I do all the time is Spaghetti. Here is the recipe I make often:

Put the Instant Pot on Saute, put four tablespoons of olive oil, Cut up one medium onion and, two cloves of garlic. Saute them until a little brown.

Add one 16 oz can of sauce

Add one 16 oz can of tomatoes

2 tablespoons of Italian Dried Seasoning

1/4 teaspoon paprika

salt and peppers to taste

1/4 teaspoon sugar (the sugar helps take away the acidity) stir all ingredients together

break the Spaghetti in half and put them over the sauce, and push the noodles into the sauce. Add a little more water to cover the noodles if you have too.

Set the Instant Pot on for 15 mins.

When done let out the steam and stir until the noodles are covered with the sauce. Serve with parmesan cheese.

There is so much you can do using the Instant Pot! You can even bake a cake. It cuts your time in half and also is a great way to do most meals.

I do use the oven sometimes when I want to make chicken. And I also have just one pan to clean up!

This is the chicken recipe I do when I do not want to fuss making dinner:

Rinse the chicken with cold water, and pat dry with a paper towel.

On each side salt and pepper the chicken.

1/4 cup of cooking wine or water in the bottom of the pan then add the chicken.

I also like to put a light dusting of paprika on the chicken

Cover the chicken with tin foil and bake for 20 to 25 mins or until the meat is cooked. let sit for 5 mins before serving.

I bake potatoes to go with the chicken

Cut up 1 medium onion, and 2 cloves of garlic pun them in a baking pan

Cut in chunks potatoes and put them into the banking pan

Add salt and pepper to taste

Sprinkle on Italian Season and Paprika

Add Extra Virgine Oil to coat the potatoes and a small amount of hot water and cover with tin foil and bake for 20 mins.

Bake the chicken at 350% both at the same time for 20 mins.

COOKING RICE

The best item to purchase is a rice cooker! It is great to use and the rice comes out perfect every time. Just follow the directions given with the rice cooker! With rice comes many ways of eating it. I like to add butter on the rice besides salt and pepper! With a rice cooker, all you have to do is put the right amount of rice and water turn it on and, walk away! It is easier than using Minute Rice, and it is less expensive too! You can cook any kind of rice you feel like it. Brown rice has a lot of vitamins and is better for you than white rice. Brown rice has fewer calories than white rice and it is rich in nutrients. If you are dieting it is low in Carbs, and it helps your cholesterol too! To cook brown rice in a rice cooker, if you do not have a rice cooker you should get one! Cooking rice in a rice cooker all you have to do is put the rice, water and, salt in the cooker and turn it on!

To cook brown rice in a rice cooker: 2 cups of organic brown rice,3 cups of water, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Rinse and Drain 2 cups brown rice, put the rice in the rice cooker, put water to the 3 cups and, add the salt. That is all there is to it. I like to add pepper and parsley to the rice when the rice is finished cooking.

I make rice pudding the easy way my mother-in-law taught me:

The Ingredients are:

In a medium saucepan add 2cups of white rice and add 1 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon Vanilla and 3 cups of milk. Stir often to avoid sticking to the bottom of the pan. Cook on low heat until the rice is thick. On top of the rice sprinkle Cinnamin on it. Let the rice cool and then serve. If you want you can add berries on top of the rice pudding.

One Frying Pan Meal:

Sprinkle with paprika and garlic power

Add 2 tablespoons Italian Season and stir the seasons and meat together
