Fruits are "mother natures candies", because they are so sweet, delicious, convenient and easy to ingest. They are seed-bearing structures in flowering plants formed from the ovary after blooming. Fruits come in a variety of sizes, shapes, textures, colors and flavours. Some are sweet, some are sour. Some are crunchy, some are soft. Some are big, some are small. I've picked six types of common fruits to include in this fun, engaging and easy quiz-style guessing game. Grab your favourite fruits and beverages, get cozy and enjoy the game!

The Quiz

1. Clue: A red, round and crunchy fruit

They're edible fruits that are grown on specific kinds of trees. The trees are harvested globally and are the most widely cultivated species in the genus Malus. The tree, originated in Central Asia, in which its wild descendant, Malus sieversii, is still discovered in the present. They've been reproduced for thousands of years in Asia and Europe, and were brought to North America by European colonists. They also have religious and mythological representation in multiple cultures such as Norse, Greek and European Christian customs.

They come in different sizes from small to large. They come in various shades of red, and only come in one shade yellow and green. They have a both sour and sweet tang and are often consumed with breakfast, lunch, and can be enjoyed as a snack and dessert. They can be eaten warm, cold or frozen in a smoothie. They have multiple health benefits and are loved by large animals like horses. They often stand on teachers desks for decoration.

2. Clue: A mushy, bright yellow and boat-resembling fruit

They're elongated fruits that are grown by several types of large herbaceous blooming plants in the genus Musa. They are also considered berries. They've been the first fruit to be cultivated in New Guinea, as far back as 8000 BC. In some countries around the world, they are utilized for cooking. A bunch of them are called hands, and a single one is called a finger. According to the *FAO, there are 1,000 kinds of them.

They come in various sizes. Some are small. Some are medium. Some of large. They are loved and enjoy by people around the world, including vegans. They are often eaten at breakfast, snack and dessert time, both in the day and at night. They are a monkeys favourite fruit and are one of the healthiest fruits on the planet. They can be consumed warm, cold or frozen in a variety of things like smoothies, ice cream, pastries, porridge and many more yummy foods to think of!

3. Clue: Small, ornament-like, sweet and round fruits

They're fruits that are botanically vines, of the deciduous woody vines of the flowering plant genus Vitis. They are They are home to the Middle East and they started cultivating these fruits 6,000-8,000 years ago. They can consumed fresh as a snack or dessert, or they can be used for making preserves, juice, jelly and many more delicious delicacies! They are considered non-climatic kinds of fruits, mainly occurring in clusters of 15-300. They come in different colors such as crimson, black, dark blue, yellow, green, orange and pink. They are usually in the form of a prolate spheroid.

They are sweet, juicy, tasty and one of the most astringent fruits to consume. They have multiple health benefits such as relaxing your blood vessels, improved heart health and giving protection against specific ailments like cancer. They can be eaten at pretty much any time of the day and are like "nature's gumdrops".

4. Clue: A tropical, bright-coloured, tangy and round fruit

They are fruits are various citrus species in the family Rutaceae. They ultimately refer to Citrus x sinensis to distinguish it from the related Citrus x aurantium. They are both sweet and bitter in taste. These fruits grew first in South and East Asia, but now they are harvested in multiple countries worldwide. They are round-coloured fruits that are cultivated on trees which can reach 10 m (33 ft) high. These specific kinds of trees have dark green shiny leaves and little white flowers with five petals. The flowers have a sweet aroma to them which attracts many bees. The skin is rather rough and shiny, than soft and non-shiny. Inside, the fruit is split into parts, which have thin tough skins to hold together multiple little sections with liquid inside. There are typically ten parts in each fruit, but occasionally more or less.

This exotic, tropical and classic fruit is a common favourite among kids, vegans, residents of tropical countries as well as people who love tangy fruits. They have many health benefits and can be eaten for breakfast, snack and dessert. They can also be used to make juices, smoothies, popsicles, essential oils and many more amazing things to consume or not. They are mainly consumed in the summer, since they are more popular around that time of year.

5. Clue: Diminutive, round, button-like and dark coloured berries

These fruits are considered perennial flowering plants. They are categorized in the section Cyanococcus with the genus Vaccinium. Vaccinium also includes various types of fruits like huckleberries and cranberries. They are both wild and cultivated and are all home to North America. They are tiny 0.2-0.6 inches (5-16 millmeters) in diameter and feature a flared crown at the end. They are green in color when they first appear, then become darker as they ripen. There are two types of these specific fruits: Highbush and lowbush (wild). The highbush ones are typically harvested in the United States. The wild ones are mainly smaller and denser in some antioxidants.

They are one of the most popular types of fruits that have many health benefits. They are often consumed by people on the keto diet and can be eaten frozen, warm and fresh during breakfast, snack and dessert. They are considered one of the most nutrient-rich fruits humans can ever eat for optimal health.

6. Clue: Vibrant, light-colored, sour, fuzzy and honeycomb-resembling fruits

These fruits are considered edible fruits of a variety of plant species in the genus Rubus of the rose family, most of which are in the subgenus Idaeobatus. The name also pertains to these plants themselves. They are perennial fruits with woody stems. They come in different colors like black, purple and golden, however red is the most common colour. They are home to Europe and northern Asia and harvested in temperate areas across the globe. Most of the US ones are cultivated in states like California, Washington and Oregon. They have a short shelf life and are only grown during the summer and fall. For these reasons, these fruits are best consumed shortly after buying.

These fruits are also popular for keto dieters and all fruit lovers, and have a tangy and sugary taste. They have multiple health benefits such as improving arthritis and supporting weight loss. They are often eating frozen or fresh during breakfast, snack and dessert time. They can be eaten with porridge, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, other fruits, dark chocolate chips, and can be used to make other things like fruit crumbles and smoothies, because they are extremely versatile.
