Pumpkin pie is a classic favorite during the fall season. Nothing reminds people more of spending time with their families during the holidays than the delicious smell of a pumpkin pie cooking in the oven.

What if there was a way to take a pumpkin pie, roll it into a stick, and make it an easy on-the-move snack. Doing so would allow for guests at your fall get togethers to enjoy some delicious pie while still being able to socialize and not be stuck sitting at the table.

There is a way for you to create this awesome, convenient treat for you and your guests to enjoy. By making a pumpkin pie twist, you can provide the delicious taste of a pumpkin pie using far fewer ingredients and way less time.

This recipe is simple and requires less than ten ingredients! It is also incredibly quick, taking less than twenty minutes to prepare and bake. Pumpkin pie tastes great, but it always tastes better when it's simple and quick!

This recipe include most of the ingredients of a normal pumpkin pie, but sine they are smaller they take less time to bake. The crescent rolls also make an easy, delicious, flaky crust.

To make these simple twists, you need the following ingredients:

1 can of refrigerated crescent rolls

1/2 cup pumpkin puree

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

*optional: whipped cream for dipping

The first step to making these awesome twists, start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with some parchment paper. Mix the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice together in a small bowl.

Get the can of crescent rolls out of the refridgerator. Take the dough and roll it out on a cutting board. Cut the dough in half to create two rectangles of 4 triangles each. Lay them next to each other on the cutting board.

Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly over one of the rectangles. Take the second triangle and place it on top of the other, making sure to line up the edges. Press down on the edges a little bit to hold in the pumpkin puree during the next step.

Use a knife or a pizza cutter to cut the filled dough into strips that are about 3/4-inches wide. Place the strips in a line on the parchment-lined baking sheet.

To twist, pick up one side of the strip, twist it twice, and lay it back down. Pick up the other side, twist twice, then lay back down as well. Twisting both sides will ensure a more even and symmetrical twist. This will give them a nice aesthetic that will please the eye.

Brush the twists with melted butter. Mix together the cinnamon and sugar, then sprinkle over the buttery dough. The butter will help the cinnamon sugar stick to the twists.

Bake this treat for 8-11 minutes, or until nice and golden brown. Remove them from the oven and let them cool for about ten minutes before serving. This will allow them to still be warm, but not too hot to eat.

When you are ready to serve, place out some whipped cream for dipping if you would like. What's better than warm pumpkin pie with whipped cream?

These treats taste so good and are incredibly easy to make. You and your guests are sure to love them and everyone will beg for more. Lucky for them, this recipe is so easy you will be able to make more in less than thirty minutes!
