Day 1

Breakfast

BACON WEAVES (MAKES 2)

What you will need:

Bacon 6 slices

Eggs 2

Provolone cheese ½ cup

Coconut oil 1 tablespoon

1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees.

2. Cut the strips of bacon in half.

3. Lay three strips flat

4. With another three strips, weave the bacon together and repeat to make two weaved squares.

5. Using the bottom of a cupcake tray, cover two wells with foil and wrap the weaves over them.

6. Cook for 50 minutes.

7. Add eggs into a bowl and whisk.

8. Heat the coconut oil on a medium-high heat.

9. Pour in the eggs and provolone cheese. Stir until the cheese has melted and the eggs have cooked.

10. Fill the bacon weaves with the eggs

11. Grill for five minutes and serve.

Day 2

Breakfast

Avocado-chicken egg bites (makes 8)

What you will need:

Avocado ½

Chicken 1 breast, cooked and diced

Eggs 6

Cottage cheese ¼ cup

Garlic 1 clove, crushed

Mild provolone cheese ¼ cup

Butter 2 tablespoons

(This recipe uses a poaching pan)

1. Add the eggs and cottage cheese in a container (preferably a jug)

2. Then add the provolone cheese

3. Add the crushed garlic

4. Add the avocado flesh

5. Add the butter and blend until smooth

6. Add the diced chicken breast

7. Add salt and pepper (optional, for taste)

8. On a high heat; add water to the poaching pan.

9. Once the water simmers, turn the heat down to a medium-low heat

10. Fill each well with the egg and avocado-chicken mixture. Cover. Cook for five minutes or until the centres are solid.

Day 3

Breakfast

HAM BASKET QUICHES (MAKES 8)

What you will need:

Eggs 14

Provolone cheese 2/3 cup

Coconut cream 1/3 cup

Coconut oil 1 tablespoon

Mixed herbs 2 tablespoons

Mild cheddar ½ cup, grated

Tomatoes 2 diced

Sliced ham 8 slices

1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees

2. crack eggs into a bowl and whisk

3. Add mixed herbs.

4. Add the tomato chunks and stir well.

5. Add the coconut cream, cheddar cheese and provolone cheese, whisk until all ingredients are combined

6. Add salt and pepper for taste (optional)

7. Press one slice of ham in each muffin cup

8. Pour the mixture into a muffin tray, leaving some room so the quiches can rise

9. Lightly sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.

10. Cook for about 25 minutes or until golden brown

Day 4

Breakfast

STRAWBERRY-CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE (MAKES 1)

What you will need:

Ice 7 cubes

Almond milk 1 cup

Strawberries 1 cup

Cocoa powder 2 tablespoons

Raw honey 1 teaspoon

1. Add the ice, strawberries and almond milk into a blender.

2. Blend until smooth.

3. Add the cocoa powder and raw honey.

4. Blend until all ingredients are well incorporated.

5. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Day 5

Breakfast

STRAWBERRY PANCAKES (MAKES 5)

What you will need:

Eggs 3

Cottage cheese ¾ cup

Vanilla extract ½ teaspoon

Almond milk ¼ cup

almond flour 1 cup

Almond meal ¼ cup

Salt ¼ teaspoon

Baking powder 1 teaspoon

Truvia ½ teaspoon

Strawberries ½ cup, chopped

Raw honey 1 tablespoons

1. On a low heat, melt the cottage cheese. Allow to cool slightly.

2. Take pan off heat and add the eggs, almond milk and vanilla extract.

3. Whisk until smooth.

4. In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, salt, baking powder and almond meal

5. Slowly add the dry mix to the eggs, whisking continuously until smooth.

6. Gently stir in the strawberries.

7. In a frying pan, melt butter on a medium-high heat.

8. When melted add two tablespoons of batter to the pan.

9. Flip when the edges start to go brown

10. When both sides are golden, serve with a drizzle of honey.

Day 6

Breakfast

SPICY-TOMATO AND CHEESE EGG BALLS (MAKES 4)

What you will need:

Eggs 2

Chopped cashews ½ cup

Salt and pepper (for taste)

Mixed herbs 1 Teaspoon

Mild cheddar cheese ½ cup grated

Hollandaise sauce

Peeled tomatoes 1 can

Red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon

Paprika 1 teaspoon

Coconut oil 1 tablespoon

Water 1 tablespoon

1. Boil the eggs for 10-13 minutes (they need to be hard boiled)

2. Once boiled, allow the eggs to cool before peeling them (putting them in cold water may help!)

3. Once cooled, mash the eggs with a fork and gently stir in ¾ of the cashews and the cheese.

Hollandaise sauce

4. Blend the tomatoes, then add the vinegar, coconut oil and water.

5. Add the paprika.

6. Mix until all the ingredients are thoroughly blended in.

7. Mix the hollandaise sauce (slowly) and the egg mix together. (it should be a firm mixture)

8. Split the mix into four balls and lightly coat in mixed herbs and the almond pieces

9. Sprinkle lightly with cheddar cheese.

10. Leave in the grill for 3-5 minutes (just to warm them)

Day 7

Breakfast

TOMATO-BACON WEAVES ON AN AVOCADO BED (MAKES 2)

What you will need:

Bacon 6 slices

Eggs 2

Provolone cheese ½ cup

Coconut oil 1 tablespoon

Avocado ½

Tomato 1 (2 slices, the rest diced)

Mild cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons

Paprika ½ teaspoon

1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees.

14. Mash the avocado, add a pinch of salt and pepper.

15. Spoon the avocado on to a plate, lay a bacon weave on top.

16. Sprinkle with chives and serve.
