• 150 gr of wheat flour.

• 1 tablespoon of sugar.

• 8 g of baking powder or chemical propellant (approximately one tablespoon).

•1 pinch of salt.

• 200 ml of milk (1 glass).

•1 egg.

• 1 dessert spoon of butter.

Preparation, how to make homemade American pancakes or pancakes, the best recipe:

1. In a bowl put the dry ingredients: the flour, the sugar, the chemical propellant or baking powder and the salt. Mix them well.

2. Melt the butter. To do this, you can put it in a small glass for 5-10 seconds in the microwave and that's it.

3. In another bowl, join the egg with the milk and butter, and beat with a few rods so that it is perfectly mixed.

4. Go pouring the liquid on top of the bowl of dry ingredients little by little while you are mixing it with some rods, so you make sure that there will be no lumps. The dough is ready!

5. Take a small non-stick frying pan (or a large one if you want to prepare several pancakes at the same time) and put it on top of the heat, which should be at medium-high temperature. Oh, and you don't need to spread it with butter or oil, because the butter that we have added to the dough already makes it not stick (as long as your pan is non-stick, of course!).

6. Ideally, you should put the dough in a jar or container from which you can pour the dough. Pour a little batter, or rather enough so that the pancake is the size you prefer.

7. Wait for the bubbles that are created to rise to the surface, and when that happens (as in the photo below), turn it over and cook for just 10 seconds more. Go placing them on a plate, cover them with a cotton tablecloth on top and prepare the rest.

If it has been very golden brown, you should lower the temperature of your fire a little, and if you see that you despair until it becomes a little golden, turn it up. The first pancake helps you set the ideal temperature.

Time: 25 minutes (you can shorten the time by preparing several pancakes at the same time in the same large pan)

As they are richer, it is freshly made. You should reserve them on a plate covered with a tablecloth, so that they remain warm until they reach the dough, warm and fluffy.
