The cold has come, the holidays are coming, but it's like winter isn’t wintered until you make yourself a pretzel in the armchair with a cup of hot chocolate in the frozen hands, with flavors that make you feel like a child again instantly.

Here are 10 hot chocolate recipes that will delight your senses and perfectly complement the Christmas atmosphere.

Original Hot Chocolate label (4 servings): Combine in a large kettle or pot 1/3 cup cocoa powder, ¾ cup sugar, and a pinch of salt. Pour 1/3 cup of boiling water over the mixture and mix well over low heat for about 2 minutes.

Add 3 cups of milk and mix everything over low heat, then let the liquid heat up very much. Before boiling, set aside the pot and add a teaspoon of vanilla essence. After pouring the hot chocolate into the cups, make a consistent "word" of whipped cream.

Mexican Hot Chocolate: All you have to do is add half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder and a pinch of paprika or hot and dried paprika to the original recipe. Aggressive aromas will quickly set your blood in motion, warm you up, and refresh you immediately.

Chocolate - caramel: In the original recipe put several caramels cut into pieces or crushed and melt them in hot liquid. Another solution would be to coat the pot with burnt sugar before you start preparing the chocolate, and it will melt and taste the wonderful liqueur. You can pour caramel syrup or caramel crumbs over whipped cream.

Peppermint chocolate: Grind well a hard candy, strongly mentholated (one per cup), mix them well in hot chocolate, and add half a teaspoon of mint essence. Sprinkle some crumbs of candy over the whipped cream. Adult version: Add as much mint liqueur as you like to the hot chocolate and sprinkle the whipped cream on top of the chocolate with liqueur.

Raspberry flavored chocolate: Over the original hot chocolate, pour the raspberry liqueur into your heart and you get a drink that is too good to be legal!

White chocolate (8 servings): Heat 6 cups of milk and two cups of sweetened sour cream on the stove until it starts to boil slightly, then pour the mixture into a bowl in which you have previously grated 350 grams of white chocolate. When the chocolate starts to melt, mix it well in the milk with the sweet cream, then, while you completely beat the composition, pour a teaspoon of vanilla essence. Keep beating until light foam forms on the surface.

Citrus flavored chocolate: Carefully melt on low heat 120 grams of dark chocolate, add ¾ cup of lightly sweetened sour cream, and ¾ cup of milk. When the combination is about to boil, add two slices of orange peel cut with a knife and two slices of lemon peel. Turn off the heat and remove the citrus peels after 2 minutes. Adult version: Add brandy and lemon liqueur (or Limoncello) to taste!

Chocolate with coffee: On gloomy days, when it's cold and it's still dark outside, shake your head and prepare your morning coffee like this: mix 1/2 cup of hot coffee with ½ cup of hot milk, mix in coffee with milk 1 ½ of cocoa slices and a tablespoon of milk chocolate given on a fine grater. Add sugar to taste and you can start your day with a smile on your face.

Russian Chocolate (Adults Only!): Mix 60 grams of Kahlua (chocolate liqueur) with 30 grams of vodka and a cup of hot chocolate (original recipe).

Chocolate with peanut butter: Melt a teaspoon (or two, as you like) of peanut butter in a cup of hot chocolate. The result is spectacular!
