They Are For Any Event

Grab your chips buds I have the three best dips for them. You can dip it, drip it or drizzle it all over a nice bowl of tortillas, plantain chips, pita chips, crackers and or some wavy lays. Whether you're having a guys night, a girls night, birthday, game night or enjoying the Super Bowl these three dips will have you and your guests coming back for more. They are filling and my favorite go-to’s.

Even For The Picky

When it comes to food I'm very picky. I'm not a fan of sour cream. I'm not a fan of guacamole. I'm not a fan of kiwi. I'm not a fan of a lime. I'm not a fan of hot foods and hot sauce. Like I said I'm picky! If you're picky especially if you're not, I guarantee you you're going to love these recipes.

Dip 1 Intro

I went to a restaurant in California and they were serving pita chips and spinach artichoke dip. I fell in love. I went store to store trying different ones to mimic the restaurants but I didn't like any of them. They were all tangy. (barf) Then I found a recipe online that I adjusted and it is delicious. The only issue is that it's not a ready to go. You must bake it in the oven at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. BEHOLD... the S.A.D. also known as my spinach artichoke dip recipe.

The Recipe: Spinach Artichoke Dip

8 oz cream cheese

¼ cup crème fraiche or plain Greek yogurt

1/4 cup mayo

1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic

2/3 cup parmesan

½ cup mozzarella

Dash of pepper

½ cup or 4 oz of fresh spinach

12 oz artichoke hearts

Dip 2 Intro

The second dip I am going to introduce to you guys is my favorite beefy cheese dip. My grandma used to live over by South Bay and they used to have block parties. One of her neighbors made this beefy cheese dip and brought Tostitos chips one time and I loved it. I asked her for the recipe and she wrote it on a napkin for me. I kept that napkin for safe keeping until I got home to write it down.

The Recipe: Beefy Cheese Dip

1 tbsp olive oil

8 oz grass fed ground beef (cooked)

½ tsp cumin

½ tsp chili powder

½ tsp paprika

2 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro leaves

12 oz or 1 ½ cup of Tostitos smooth and cheesy dip (15 oz)

Dip 3 Intro

And lastly the crab dip. This recipe is a family recipe that was handed down from generation to generation. Every Christmas my great aunt would come to our family gatherings and bring this crab dip and these Pepperidge Farm Harvest Wheat crackers. A great combo! Finally, I worked up the courage to ask her for the recipe and just show me how to make it and so she did. I present to you my family ready to go crab dip.

The Recipe: Crab Dip

1 cup Fresh crab meat (cooked)

A rib of celery diced

¼ cup of chopped yellow onion

Tbsp mayo

¼ tsp celery salt

tsp Lawry's seasoning salt

2 tsp Cains sweet pickled relish

tsp sugar

The Punch Intro

I know what you’re thinking…what am I supposed to drink with it? Well, I got you covered. I am also going to share with you my accidental concoction that is such a fruity delight. I like to call it, “Baddie’s Punch.” You can always add more or no rum at all either way its yummy.

The Punch Recipe

½ cup strawberries slice

2 orange slices (squeeze then drop in)

1 cup Don Q Gran Anejo Rum

½ cup Bacardi gold rum

¼ cup R W Knudsen Just Cranberry
