Haida’s pizzas are delicious! The restaurant offers excellent breakfast pizzas, and it is situated on a cute little side street outdoor patio, which is not too noisy and is shady not to be burned by the sun while you are eating breakfast. The restaurant owner was amiable, and all staff is very professional.

Haida pizzas are excellent, and you will love the open concept where you can see them making your pizza; it is truly a hidden gem. The food served in Haida Sandwich is decent. They are very generous with the toppings on the pizza. The recommended pizza to order is the “Haida Pizza,” consisting of beef and chicken deli, mozzarella cheese, beef sausage, mushroom, green pepper, olive, special sauce ketchup onto potato sticks onto a sandwich bun.

Their pizzaz is crunchy and meaty, which is surprising. The Haida pizzas are loaded with toppings! The yellow bottle in the back is not mustard; it is their special Haida sauce. The staff team collaborates charmingly; the meals are prepared very well. The level of professionalism accounting for the COVID situation is incomparable in this location. If you don’t want to sit at the restaurant, the food has been neatly packaged in their new aluminum bag. It is a perfect solution during the pandemic to keep the food warm.

Many people look for a cozy place to have a quick brunch to start their day and have their weekend brunch there too. So Mahas would be the best choice.

Fortunately, nearly all life-styles can have a meal there, especially people looking for Halal foods, vegetarians, and Gluten-free enthusiasts. It makes sense to spend every weekend there!

The menu contains authentical Egyptian foods, especially brunch items. One of the most popular things is Basturma Scramble.

Thinly sliced cured beef with fenugreek, garlic, sautéed mixture with three eggs, and the Egyptian spices are the ingredients of tasty classic Egyptian food Basturma Scramble.

After that delicious dish, a good hot cup of coffee would be just the ticket!

Maha is a small restaurant that has a homey, casual decoration design. It has a semi_open kitchen that Maha Barsoom, the owner, and her daughter are the chefs in the kitchen. In the front, her son, Mark, works as a barista. He takes orders and prepares drinks. He is a fast, professional barista.

Egyptian vibes are felt in decoration as you enter so that you will sense that you're in the heart of Cairo.

According to the small area inside the restaurant, there is an outdoor seating option too, so you can use the fresh air during that time you're spending there.

If you are in a hurry, use the takeout option.

Street parking is available, Visa and credit cards are accepted, so enjoy your time without concern.

The kitchen is an expert in Egyptian recipes. You can find the same brunches as the foods cooked in Cairo.

Tasty, Halal, original recipes that give you an excellent experience of Egyptian food are the reasons I recommend you to try there at least once.

One issue that is so important in every restaurant or cafe is the hospitability of the staff. In Maha, they treat you such nice that you feel like you are a member of a family.

price range: CA$30 for two people (approx.)

TAKHT-E TAVOOS means" PEACOCK THRONE" in Persian. This word refers to the ancient history of Iran.

The food culture in Toronto has been so varied in the late years.

The Persian community is large in Toronto, that's why one of the popular foods around Canada is Persian food. You can find the best type of it in Takhte Tavoos restaurant.

This is also the best place for those looking for Halal Options.

In breakfast items, "Kalleh pacheh" is a literally Persian delicacy. However, it is served for breakfast meals, it can be considered as a main course too, because of its large portion.

The sheep's head and belongings and the hooves by adding up some spices and grains like beans and peas would make such tasty food that is so much popular in Iran.

Every dish includes one tongue, one hoof, and an eye in the broth, if available. Persian flatbread, pickled garlic, lemon juice are served beside your dish.

"chai" (tea) as a daily drink is the most popular among Persian people. So the chai item is on the menu definitely! Make sure to try their House Chai.

As well, for those who have vegan diets, there are items like Spinach narguesi. As its name shows, it is made of eggs and fresh spinach.

Inexpensive and generously sized appetizers make everyone to have an appetizer dish. So I recommend Shole Zard to try after brunch.

The cuisine style is mostly Persian and somehow middle eastern.

The moment you enter the restaurant, the decoration interests you. Gorgeous blue pots on the shelves, lanterns, music instruments, mirror works on the wall, authentic paintings, and every single thing reminds you of Persian culture. I think it's exciting.

The essential item for the Persian experience is the inclusion of two "Takht" rug seating areas that exist in Takhte Tavoos.

In addition to the dine-in option, takeaway and delivery are available.

American Express, Master Card, Credit cards, and VISA are acceptable for easy payment.

Here is a casual place for friend group meetings and family hangouts. As the Persian people are nice and hospitable, the servers are friendly and warm.

Reservation is not available, only attendance.

Iqbal Kebab & sweet Centre on Thorncliffe is a restaurant serving Pakistani foods such as Biryanis, Combos, and Kebabs using Halal meat. It is based near the park, so families can choose this place to have their brunch meal at the weekends. Although the menu is mostly including main dishes, there are some Vegan options and some items for dessert. For instance, Kheer is a delicious Pakistani dessert which is made from rice and fat milk sweetened by a little sugar.

A large space with a lot of tables and chandeliers has made the atmosphere cheerful. The decoration is simple and casual, not modern nor traditional, and suitable for large groups.

The style of the kitchen is the style of South Asia, Indian and Pakistani.

If you want to eat your meal at home, the takeout option is available.

The servers are warm and prompt.

As the foods are flavorful, also the prices reasonably correspond with the size of the portions. Overall, Iqbal restaurant is a pleasant place where I recommend you to try once.
