If you are #basic and love Starbucks but are trying to make healthy choices, this post is for you! I have been on my own health and fitness journey, and what I have learned is that when you start off trying to cut everything out, and become super restrictive all at once, more than likely you're not going to be able to sustain that way of eating. I believe in starting off slow, and trying to be more mindful about what you are consuming. So making some healthier swaps at first can make the transition a little smoother.

Now, these drinks are based on calories only. I wanted to give you options if you are only counting calories, and want some drink ideas that will keep you under that 100-calorie mark. I will be giving you carbs, sugars, protein, and caffeine information as well so you can see which drinks you might think are worth trying!

1. Grande Iced Passion Tango Tea

A blend of hibiscus, lemongrass and apple is lightly sweetened and hand shaken with ice for a refreshingly vibrant tea. 45 cal, 11 carbs, 11 sugars, 0 protein, 0 caffeine.

2. Tall Dragon Drink

AKA, "the pink drink." This tropical-inspired pick-me-up is crafted with a refreshing combination of sweet mango and dragon fruit flavors, and is hand shaken with creamy coconut milk and ice, and a scoop of real diced dragon fruit. Contains caffeine and coconut. 100 cal, 20 carbs, 18 sugars, 1 protein, 35 caffeine.

3. Grande Mango Dragonfruit Refresher

This tropical-inspired pick-me-up is crafted with a refreshing combination of sweet mango and dragon fruit flavors, and is hand shaken with ice and a scoop of real diced dragon fruit. 90 cal, 21 carbs, 19 sugars, 0 protein, 45 caffeine.

4. Tall Nonfat Cappuccino

Dark, rich espresso lies in wait under a smoothed and stretched layer of thick foam. It's truly the height of our baristas' craft. 90 cal, 9 carbs, 8 sugars, 6 protein, 75 caffeine.

5. Short Nonfat Caffe Latte

Dark, rich espresso balanced with steamed milk, and a light layer of foam. A perfect, milk-forward warm up. 100 cal, 10 carbs, 9 sugars, 6 protein, 75 caffeine.

*BONUS*

For my matcha peeps I thought I would throw in this bonus drink that's a little over 100 calories, but still doable. It is the Matcha Green Tea Latte. The smooth and creamy matcha is lightly sweetened, and served with steamed milk. 110 cal, 14 carbs, 14 sugars, 6 protein, 30 caffeine.

All this information was gathered from Starbucks.com. I just picked a few, to provide ideas of some low cal drinks that you can try to substitute here and there if you are trying to count calories. Also, the drinks are linked, so if you want to click on them and change the size of the drink to get those nutrition facts, you can.

Happy Drinking!
