humanity
Humanity begins at home.
Going Home Means
Going home is the streetlights that sits adjacent to the golf course, where straight would go to grandmas and left would take us home. Home Rivas burritos where it stays the size of my head, and I can only head three quarters of it. Home is the spirit of beaver nation and everyone who bleeds orange. It is the damp grass that feeds into the air, and the heavieness of the clouds that peer over our heads in any season other than summer. Home is the fifteen-minute communte to any part of town and the Bi mart and Safeway that is a mile away from my house. Home is the church a mile away from our house where our car ran out of gas with pizza in hand. Home is the straight away road where we ramp up our speed just to cruise around the S turn till, we see Mary's peak. It is the path that we walked our dogs down to the creek by where we climbed and swam through the waters. Home is the uneven pot holed gravel that led us to our house, where it worsened the more it rained, so much we called it Watten-pothole-lane. It is where we only can ever fit one car under the carport. It's the playroom door being our main form of entry.

What A Girl Needs
The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. In her room, it was designed to be a baby girl’s dream. Mystical creatures and lettering lined the trimmings of the walls the parents purposely designed to avoid a pink color scheme. Each wall had different particular earth toned patterns. Perfectly coordinated mixtures of Forest Green, Midnight Blue, Desert Sand, Canyon Brown, and Rich Earth filled the space to make it a special world for her to get lost inside. Visual entertainment from floor to ceiling, with pictures of significance framed accordingly. All her soft stuffed animals were arranged from biggest to smallest in different corners and play areas, and her bookshelf had wonderful fiction and non-fiction tales. As she grew, her bookshelf would rotate in complexity, length, and interests of her own so she could never be bored or out of choices. Her crib was custom-made, and designed to be the most comfort a baby could ask for when resting. With a beautiful crib mobile that spinned gingerly above her head. The sheets and blankets were minimalistic, so they weren’t overly stimulating. But, purchased based on their stitch count and material that were used to make them. There was almost always a sound of the ocean, wind, and quiet tones flowing around from the noise machine. Occassionally, you could even hear an audiobook reading or a classical song being played.

Hectic year
This year has had too many downs, but a few ups. Between losing jobs, sickness hitting us left and right, I began to think our lives were starting to fall apart. But the good parts were finding out I was expecting our last daughter, my oldest starting kindergarten, and ending the year with everyone still being here. I am ending the year depressed, overwhelmed, and just plain tired.

This is how I live my retirement.
I am about to turn 64 and started my retirement only 10 months ago, some friends think it must be boring to stay at home doing only housework. How wrong they are because I have always done this type of work, especially because despite being the biological father of 4 children and adoptive of another 2, I now embrace singleness and live with the youngest of my children, who is no longer a little one, well he has already turned 20, who studies and works. I took care of him without his mother for the last 15 years, you can imagine my titanic efforts to achieve his emotional balance, keep him in good health, educate him in values and prepare him for life.

That One Moment
Just as a degree is a degree, real or fake, so a house is a house, whoever it belongs to. Deen Muhammad Dudhi's house was a house, but according to Aman Ji, the children had turned it into a house of commotion. So, gentlemen, you must be thinking, who does this patter patter tongue belong to? Yes, not at all, it is our childhood habit to keep talking and when does the habit change? Just as people consider every true and false statement of politicians to be a political statement, in the same way my speech is considered nonsense. Amma says nonsense. Hey man, I also got involved in some things. Let me introduce myself. My name is Farida and I am a resident of a beautiful neighborhood in Lahore. Our house is small but in good shape. Respected father's name is Deen Muhammad and is called Dudhi because of his milk business. This is our family business since the time of Abaji's Abaji ie my grandfather. It is a different matter that Abbaji is able to adjust in this business. Adjustment means taking out two kilos from four kilos of milk and making it four kilos again. The rest should be done by yourself. Apart from me in my family I have my younger sister Haniya who is eighteen years old and four years younger than me. According to this calculation, my age is only 20 years old after adjustment, isn't it? On the third place is my beloved brother Ihtsham, who gets angry on him. Apart from this, there are aunts in the family who, like every mother, feel the need for their children. This was a brief introduction of our family. Now I am sleeping.
