I had spent months watching our family prep for your arrival. We had a baby shower, tons of family members over all the time, and lots of shopping... all for you. Now that I think about it, I felt like I was beginning to lose them before you had even arrived. Your mom stopped playing with me. She was sick all of the time. Your dad's focus was all on your mom. Grandma's attention went towards helping your mom and since grandpa didn't have a mind of his own, his focus was wherever grandma's was.

My mothers side of the family has always been a bit of a mystery for me, for a lot of reasons. One of the big reasons was divorce, both my parents divorce and my grandparents divorce. And if I'm honest my mother complicated things. She left our family when I was 5, then decided she wanted sympathy and child support so that is easier if you have at least one of your 4 children. I was the easy target being the youngest, a 5 year custody battle ensued that eventually ended in an airport with her saying "I never wanted you anyway". This is the very short version, it is actually what I usually write about, mostly telling some stories for my kids but you are welcome to check them out if you want.

During this year's winter break, our family took a trip to the paradise of Sanya. The air in Zibo is dry, plus the winter in the north is strangely cold, which is why our family decided to play in the warm climate of Sanya. The sky here is lower and bluer than Qingdao, and the grey weather in Zibo is more than you can hope for. I have only seen such beautiful skies in Japan. The sea water in Sanya is less polluted and appears extraordinarily clear and blue, just like being in a movie. And, the sea in Sanya is also very well developed, in the West Island, Wuzhizhou Island and other tourist islands, the sea can be seen everywhere, water skiing, banana boat (a small rubber boat needs to be pumped, very light weight, can take 4-5 people, pulled by a speedboat on the surface of the sea), by speedboat and sailboat tourists, the sky is also a lot of people playing parachute, the bottom of the sea is a lot of diving On the beach, there are sun loungers for rent, beach buggies and tandem bicycles.
