Apostle
She stood on the weathered deck of this house she once loved, where she felt loved, imagining herself younger, wilder. Dancing through the bull dust, down over swatches of grass. The sting on her skin from rolling into the bindi bur that filled in more land than lawn. Lazy days on this deck, giggling at the Apostle birds chatter and play. Images and sounds, the smells, all shifting in the hot winds, contorting into unreliable memories.

The Importance of the Early Years for Child Development
The first steps, first words, first days of school – throughout these early years, you're bound to be fascinated by your child's progress and development However, as the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton pointed out in her recent keynote speech, you don't have to be a parent to appreciate the importance of the early years.

Mom Shaming
Imagine being so excited to be a mom. You're pregnant, you're glowing. You're ready to have the amazing little human you're growing in your arms and with you to love and cherish forever. (If yours went this well. My pregnancy sucked and other people also ruined it for me).

Handle With Care
Sometimes when I can't sleep at night, instead of counting sheep, I count all the different places I've lived. When I was a kid, the Tippet and Richardson truck was a regular sight in our driveway. By the time I was 11, I'd already moved seven times. All our things shoved into boxes would be piled into the belly of a van by men in coveralls who made a sport out of how far they could throw the furniture. I can't remember a single move where something didn't arrive broken or scratched. "A bad omen," my mother would say as she unwrapped chipped porcelain Capodimonte. The truth was that I'd chipped a few of those ugly flowers myself playing Barbies, and only now did she notice. Best to go with the flow.

Who wore it best?
Red carpet, white lights, and beautiful people are the makings of marvelous night. Awards are given, and hit music is performed. Everyone reminisces about the connection they have with the humanitarian of the evening. Anyone who is anyone knows the location of the private afterparty, and plan to arrive fashionably late to secure an immense entrance. The cameras flash and patrons dance. Everything is everything for just a little while. Unfortunately, sometimes before the sum rises, the opinions and comments of others will dim the accomplishments and bright lights of the paparazzi in the evening before.

Joey isn't the only one who doesn't share food!
If there is one thing that just about all American's can agree on, it's a love of the hit tv show, Friends. And nothing is more iconic than the episode where Joey makes it loud and clear that "JOEY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD!"

Am I A Bad Person?
Ok darlings, here’s the what’s going down and I need some outside input. Recently, as in the last year and a half, my mom just got out of an abusive relationship (i’m talking physically, mentally, emotionally abusive). Now she’s been with this guy (let’s call him Bo), for 11 years and he’s actually my brothers dad.
