Super Mom

Mother~ A woman who conceives gives birth to or raises and nurtures a child.

When you think of a mother, nurturing thoughts automatically come to your mind and a beautiful smile warms your face. Mothers are natural birthers and nourishers, it simply comes easy for a mom to love her kids. There's a protective defense that a mother has for her children. Mothers have this maternal instinct that guides the way she believes her children should be raised in order to keep them from danger, misleading conduct, deception, and bad communication that corrupts good manners.

Mothers are caretakers of the home and among many other things. Some get the definition of home confused when relating it to moms, they mistake it for meaning only housework. Nothing can be farther from the truth, caring for the home includes the kids, husband, bills, school work, parent-teacher conferences, caring for sick kids, sick husband, even self. Mothers take on the nurse role in the home, the homeschool teacher, the disciplinarian, the counselor, and negotiator, etc.

Moms wear many hats to get the J.O.B. done. Great moms understand if no one is willing to do the work she's gonna take care of it herself. Wise moms believe if you want something done right, do it yourself. It's not that she's too proud to ask for help. It's that she asked for help and none did the job properly or wanted to do it at all. Isn't that funny, everybody wants to eat and be blessed, but many don't want to do the work it takes to receive the blessings. (that'll preach lol). This reminds me of the kid's story of " The Little Red Hen" The Little Red Hen asked all of the other animals to help with collecting the ingredients to bake the bread, but no one wanted to help, but when it was time to eat the bread everyone wanted to eat, but the little red hen reminded them. None wanted to help collect to bake the bread so you will not help me eat the bread. Mothers use this same lesson with their kids when it comes to chores, if a child doesn't do their part there's no reward lol haha but we still feed you and house you. This teaches kids the value of hard work, keeping them grounded, and strengthens them for the future.

However, sometimes a mother's job can become overwhelming causing her to feel unappreciated. Being a mother did not come with a manual. Mom's get burned out too. So appreciate your mom and give her roses while she is still alive. Never take your mom for granted. Show your mom the love she deserves at all times and respect her no matter the circumstance. We only get one biological mom so cherish her. Moms go through a lot to show how much they care. Husbands if you have a wife and she's the mother of your children, be her peace the same as you want her to be your peace. In addition, moms make tremendous sacrifices to make sure their family has food on the table. It's not always roses taking care of a family, the load gets heavy and moms sometimes get weary. It takes a lot of prayers daily to overcome unforeseen obstacles. So when you think about " Mothers Day" do not just celebrate your mom on that special day. Celebrate mom every day because she's worth it! And daily she has to care for you. A mother's job is never D.O.N.E. Happy Mothers Day to all the moms. Cheers to you!
