Monster and Arianna

Arianna was having a very bad day, she felt very yucky but did not know why. She was only 6 months after all, she knew a lot but not everything. She kept trying to tell her teacher that she felt yucky, but her teacher thought she just didn't get enough sleep, or did not like the toys or something else. Everything except for the fact she felt yucky.

Finally, someone took Arianna’s temperature and realized she had a fever.

" Finally, mommy is called and coming" thought Arianna. "she'll make me feel better."

So, mommy arrived and immediately swooped Arianna into her arms and into the car and told Arianna “You have a fever and we're going straight to the doctor so you can start to feel better right away!" As mommy was talking at the red light there was a big WHAM!

Arianna did not know what it was, but mommy wasn't too happy. She checked Arianna who assured mommy she was fine and cozy in her car seat.

Mommy got out and a man handed mommy all kinds of papers, mommy took all kinds of pictures and told the man she had to go, her baby was sick.

Arianna and mommy got to the doctor and that's when Arianna found out they were what was called a "car accident". Arianna was checked out for her fever, found out she had another ear infection and was checked out from the car accident. She was fine.

Mommy's car had to be dropped off to be fixed and a new car seat bought. When mommy and Arianna went into the store. Arianna wasn’t feeling the greatest but had numbing drops to help her ears and was already helping and she was better just being with her mommy.

Walking around the store that's when Arianna met her best friend!

Monster was sitting on the shelf crying because she did not have a family. Arianna started cooing at Monster and Monster looked up, what was that noise, it sounded happy, Monster was not feeling very happy. Arianna was kicking, cooing and reaching towards Monster and mommy knew that Arianna wanted to give the round pink Monster a home. Mommy knew Arianna felt yucky, mommy felt like it was a rough day and it looked like this little pink monster could use some loving so mommy decided that it would be wonderful if the monster came home with them.

Arianna hugged and kissed Monster and said “Monster”. Monster’s eyes got all big “how did this little girl know her name?”. Monster liked the hugs and kisses, though she did not know what they were as it was the first hugs and kisses, she ever had.

Arianna grinned from ear to ear, Monster grinned from ear to ear the two of them were so happy they each had a best friend that they could do anything, go anywhere with for the rest of their lives.

So, Monster came home with Arianna and the two became inseparable. The two started off with going home and meeting all of Arianna’s family and cuddling while Arianna recovered from her ear infection. They later on went to school together to meet Arianna’s friends at school. Monster got to hang out in the cubby and see everything that was going on and the two best friends got to chat at nap time and after school about all the antics of their friends. Monster was at Arianna’s birthday party and Monster even had a birthday party at school with all her friends. They have so much fun together. They continue to go on all kinds of adventures together and remain best friends to this day and will remain best friends for the rest of their lives.
