Life of a Depressed African Teen

As you might expect, I was born into a Christian family. Both my mom and dad were strong believers, and despite their struggles, I believe they deserve recognition for their unwavering faith, if such recognition truly exists.

During my upbringing, I must admit I was not the brightest child. There was a particular occasion when I wanted to enroll in KG 2, a preschool class, but I couldn't even draw a simple circle. My mom stood by me, trying to motivate and encourage me to complete the task, but all I could do was cry. Perhaps back then, my mom should have seen a glimpse of the struggles I would face later in life. But, well, no one can truly predict the future, can they?

As I grew older, I encountered numerous experiences that shaped me into the person I am today. Some of these experiences have left a lasting impact, molding me in ways I never imagined. To be honest, life can be incredibly tough. It's like a well-fed lie, presenting itself as something it's not. It doesn't simply follow the script we were told.
