Impact of parental behaviour

Child abuse

Love for children is incredibly important, but unfortunately, some parents can be rude and harsh to their children, resulting in abuse.
This can lead to many children resorting to suicide, drug use, and mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, hypertension, and more. Parental behaviors that are rude towards their children are not effective, and research shows that yelling may be harmful as an aggressive problem-solving method.

If parents want to discuss something with their children, speaking politely is the best way. If parents are nice and respectful towards their children and their opinions, then the children will love them with all their hearts. According to a 2014 study in the Journal of Children Development, yelling produces results similar to physical punishment in children, resulting in increased levels of anxiety, stress, and depression, along with an increase in behavioral problems.

Parents can damage their children's mental health by yelling, as it can be used as a weapon, and research shows that verbal abuse can damage mental health in extreme situations. Parents love their children a lot, but the way they express their love is not always correct. Even parents who are strict with their children, although they may be growing well, can cause their children to lie to them and not feel comfortable talking about anything. This not only destroys their children's mental health, but they also cannot trust anyone .

Parents often do not think before saying hurtful things to their children, and this can be heartbreaking for children. Toxic words can lead to suicide attempts, and in some extreme cases, can even shatter their world into pieces. For instance, a 15-year-old girl in the province of Punjab committed suicide just because of her parents behaviour .

Parents need to understand that their words can destroy their children's entire lives, and once a glass is broken, it cannot be repaired. Children often face study issues, family issues, and the world can feel upside down to them. They need support and understanding from their parents, who should not just focus on their grades, but also on their well-being.

Parents are always thinking about their children's good and want them to be independent and live a good life. It is crucial for parents to remember that their children are only here because of them, and their love and support are what children need the most.

Well…brown parents are so strict . They don’t understand what their child is saying to them .

Brown parents will notice so quickly if you are laughing while using phone, but never notice your depression which you are suffering from years.

Children are suffering from a lot of these things . And they feel like they are not included . They feel like they are not invited or welcomed . They feel lonely and broke .

Parents should open the eyes of their children and make them a better person and inspire them to do better things in their life rather than making them broke, rude, depressed.

Parents should realise that every relationship is messed up nowadays . And what makes it perfect is that they should be there when things really suck.

When a child is not loved by his or her own family they feel like they are a piece of shit . They feel like no one cares if they go missing . They feel like they will jump right off a bridge and the world would not be different . Because they are just a waste of space .

When a child tries to talk to their parents, the parents should make them feel comfortable and safe around them .
